Liberalism is like a Cancerous Tumor.
When the Cancerous Tumor grows too large, Liberals leave and infect other States just like Cancer Cells migrate through the Body and attack the other Organs.
The process then repeats itself. The Californication of Colorado is just one example. It’s even starting to happen to Texas now. Demographics and time will tell.
The political class in our country should NOT be allowed to make these types of assumptions.
Furthermore, no pensions for politicians.
And most of those retired municipal workers don’t even live in NJ any longer.
Heck, many STATE workers already live in PA (since Trenton is on the border, and a dangerous dump).
This scheme only works as long as a growing population of suckers comes in at the bottom of the pyramid and pays into it; the brain drain in NJ is happening because that process isn’t occurring. Importing marginal Third Worlders isn’t a solution, but worsening the problem; the government workers use them as justification for their jobs but their costs are spread the remaining “makers”...
People are escaping from NY in droves as well.
Yes, and for many of the same reasons. Unfortunately for NJ, those people no longer stop here - they just keep going. The NJ “gold coast” along the Hudson still attracts wealthy NYers, but those areas (and jobs) are a fraction of the NYC metro area and unable to financially maintain the rest of the area.
Liberalism is a Big Business; I’ve never met a Dem voter who wasn’t voting for their own financial interest - actual cash in their pockets (whether they or a family member was a government worker at some level or other, or for welfare/freebies, etc.).
The concept of voting on principles, while touted by Dems, is a myth when you dig a little bit deeper.
Bank Robbers rob Banks because it’s in their own self interest.
I always laugh when I hear people talk about Voting in their Self Interest. These are the same people that believe “it takes a Village” and the Government can take things away from you for your own good, Hillary’s famous lines.
They mean taking away the Constitutional Freedoms of their fellow Citizens, not them losing access to their EBT Cards.
Their own self interest means the Taxpayers foot the Bill.
