Cecil B. DeMille Award recipient Meryl Streep used her speech at the Golden Globes to rip President-elect Donald Trump. Streep addressed "foreigners" in Hollywood, bullying and Trump mocking a disabled reporter in her very political address to the room full of actors.

Terrible actress.
Overacts so much I am amazed there is air for the other people and equipment in her scenes.
When she is on the screen, she is Acting dammit and Don’t You Forget It.
I really hope she was stunned by our victory.
These hypocritical Hollywood elites live in gated compounds, and the only limited interaction they have with the “oppressed people” are with their Mexican landscapers and housekeepers.
Hollywood now knows - since November 8th - that they are out of touch with middle America and they don’t give a damn.
In 2016, there were 25 award shows. The Oscars and Golden Globes are just the two with the highest name recognition. These mostly high-school educated narcissistic people meet 25 weeks out of the 52 weeks in a year to tell themselves what great people they are and to hand out awards to each other. Who cares what any of them have to say or think?
How indoctrinated, conceited, and completely low-class do you have to be to rail on about your personal political opinions in a “thank you” to your peers for an acting award?
Just for her lunacy I’ll not go to a movie for several months.
