Need more evidence of the rampant political polarization thats tearing at the fabric of America?
Yeah, we didnt either, but here it is anyway.
A tribute to deceased former 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts was besieged by critics of the group on Friday, following news that the group will perform at Donald Trumps inauguration.
The tribute was posted Wednesday to commemorate what would have been Roberts 39th birthday.
Tuesday was your birthday. You wouldve been 39 years old. To even try to remember all the things we experienced together more than most will ever see. Good times, bad times ..always my brother. Rest easy, the group posted to Instagram this week.

A lovely sentiment and one that was drowned out by partisan bile on Friday.

Neither have I. If this band became famous anytime after 1990, it’s unlikely I would be familiar with them unless they had some big hits that crossed into more than one genre.
I stopped listening to most popular music around that time.
Most of popular music is meant for the teenager or college student of that era. Once in a while, I come up on a gem of a song or truly innovative band that I overlooked and decide to learn about.
At this point, any competent band, experienced in playing to live audience will do. I’ll be satisfied so long as it’s not the type of rapper who swears every other word or sings about hating cops, picky women and white folks. One last requirement, the group has to keep their word to perform, not get cold feet after a few dems post a few mean tweets about no longer liking the group.
Now I hear Paul Anka has backed out, supposedly, because of
‘custody issues and related obligations’. Whatever Paul.
I already had my doubts that his voice was up to the task anyway.
Never heard of 3 doors down. There’s no good music after Kurt Cobain anyway.
VERY cool! This is turning out to be a great inauguration.
Well, an even BETTER inauguration!
Trump!!!
The Democrat Thug Party strikes again.
” Duck and Run” is their best song in my opinion and fits the Trump insurgency.
The band met while stationed in Gulf Port, MS with the Seabees.
They should play this song for sure!
Isn’t Paul Anka 105? Is the custody issue over a Victrola?
know thy enemy ... for when it comes to battle, treat them appropriately
Well she was having his baby.
Amen!
GREAT song and yes it does.
My favorite is probably Ticket To Heaven, but it doesn’t fit with the inauguration :)
; )
It seems like Paul has been around forever, but hes ‘only’ 75. Paul may be telling the truth, maybe. He and his latest ex-wife Anna, have one child together, but don’t always get along. In Nov. of 2009, Anna got angry at Paul, picked up a piece of ice from a cooler and threw the ice at Paul, splitting his head open. Paul had to get two staples to close the wound. Anna left the house, but later returned, with police waiting for her. She was booked for felony domestic battery.
They won’t stop until they are crushed underfoot. Hence the meaning of “meant for destruction.”
Three Doors Down are Mississippi boys! Yay!
They have a charity, which, among other things, raised money to
BUY POLICE CARS for the Waveland, MS Police Dept in the wake of Hurricane Katrina!! Awesome!! I’m thinking these boys won’t be intimidated!

I bet most came home from school to an empty home where Mom or Dad didn’t get home from work until 6PM.
This is what decades of marching to serfdom according to the Globalist’s plan - starting Rockefellers donating land for the UN, establishing the Bilderberger Group, and don’t forget the Council on Foreign Relations, and Trilateral Commission. Decades of tearing down our traditional family, institutions, and economy.
These people are just showing who they really are and always have been - the mask is off.
One wonders if people would be so openly hateful if the Internet did not provide annonimity. I know I TRY not to post things I would regret saying, but there are times.
