The most important thing to the Bush family was preserving their 30 year bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of immigration laws and borders.

We are actually in full agreement. I did not state those things because I endorsed his policies. I was just saying that he was more in line with the “rightist” establishment than people realize. What Clinton did wasn’t really radically different than what R dogma espoused at the time.
I agree that interventionism and “free” trade religious fervor are flawed dogmas.

Much of the GOP is in bed with the Dems and you’re right, in many ways you cannot tell the difference.
I’m done with the GOP other than a vehicle to elect folks like Trump. We need a new breed of voter and statesmen whose goals are to recover our Free Constitutional Republic by dismantling the 70% to 80% unconstitutional portion of the feds. To hell with their damn politics.
Nixon!! He set Nixon up, ingratiated himself like a Mafia don so that Nixon owed him big time. Then he tricked Nixon into saying and doing certain things even though Nixon was wholly unaware of anything to do with Watergate until after it occurred. Poppy proactively pulled marionette strings to get Nixon to do and say stuff in public that would hasten his resignation.
And his son’s presidency really helped Poppy cover some of his own tracks.

That Bush family is correctly identified as The Bush Crime Family. I wouldn’t want to be them facing their Maker when their day comes! Hear that, ole Poppy-boy?!
On fiscal policy, trade, foreign policy, and immigration they are basically on the same page, which is why they were so willing to join forces against Trump in this election.
He wanted to be sure his hospital coverage was in force — i.e. Obamacare ending in less than 2 days !

The Bushes sold out whatever refinement and high-mindedness they ever had a long time ago. No true patricians would happily associate with the Clinton Crime Family as all the Bushes do.
