A race activist referred to a historically black colleges marching band as coons for playing at President-elect Donald Trumps inauguration.
Tariq Nasheed, a black writer and activist, used a racist trope to describe Talladega Colleges marching band.
So the HBCU [historically black colleges and universities] Talladega College Marching Band has agreed to perform at the Trump inauguration
thats interesting, Nasheed wrote, adding a picture of a group of raccoons playing instruments.

What would he be calling Trump, if the parade was ALL WHITE? So, the way I see it, Trump is choosing the Best and Brightest for the parade. All the criticism is just hot air.
“Coons?” That is phenomenally insulting to all raccoons, any one of which has more redeeming qualities than your average “Amish.”

I don't hear any white people calling the all-black Talladega College Marching Band coons or n*99as.

When the left and the media decided in the 1970s to call leftist agitators “activists”, it was just another word they euphemistically created to play down the bad consequences of their agitation.
We should no longer play their game. Here is how that story should read.
“A racist agitator referred to a historically black college’s marching band as “coons” for playing at President-elect Donald Trumps inauguration. Tariq Nasheed, a black racist and agitator, used racist slang to disparage Talladega College’s marching band.”
Importantly, a racist spends as much time disparaging those in his race that disagree with him, as he does attacking those of other races.
