I wonder what is being said about this at the NYT? I'll bet a few editors and reporters at both CNN and other media outlets are talking about this over coffee this morning.
Maybe CNN and some of the others will issue a page 1 above the fold apology for promoting fake news and political bias. Maybe some of the smarter ones will install ombudsmen to monitor journalistic ethics and bias that report to the news organizations owner's board of directors.
Nah. I doubt that the Clinton News Network or the New York Slimes are going to change their ways anytime soon before bankruptcy proceedings.
When one drains a swamp, the process is to fill it and kill it. You leave the scum as you find it, pile it with big heavy rocks, and fill it with sand to cover the rocks, then backfill it with fresh clean dirt, then replant. It you do it right, you never know it was a swamp, and all the beasties below will fertilize the new plants.

It’s like giving Palestinians land for peace, when you know they’re just going to use it as a launch pad for rocket attacks.
For every concession we grant, they simply use that as one step closer to annihilating us. We either get in the gutter right now and fight, or we leave the fight to our grandchildren who, by then, might not have anything left for which to fight.
And the pimps and whores we've sent to Congress to speak for us? By now we realize they're in it purely for the career. They tell us what we want to hear, then when they get to DC, they do nothing more than positioning themselves for advancement in the DC Machine, regardless what we want.
It’s not about winning so much as it is about fighting back....I can handle a loss when an effort was made at winning, but I can’t STAND the strategy or bending over and hoping for the best.
