you do not recognize the political/social implications of that disastrous economic policy.
What I object to is the idea of a centralized government even thinking about this. Which it has for the last 70 years.

Nothing more evil than the income tax which should be replaces by a tariff and an NSRT. The NSRT needs congressional action but the tariff does not. A realist looks at the devastation of the last 30 done to our manufacturing base and can admit that free trade was a disaster. But most hold onto that free trade dream like a religion.
