The Buffalo Public School District says it cannot comment on this case due to Federal Laws but says in order for a parent to file for homeschooling, they must have full custody of the children.

This seems like an extreme measure to take for a mother choosing to homeschool while not having "full custody" of the children. Where's dad?

Good point. Dad probably was just a sperm donor. I feel like this story is a bleeding heart story to show bad Homeschooling mom. It reminds me of the woman in Arizona who is being deported.....supporters say she didn’t do anything wrong.......they conveniently leave out that she has a felony. There is more to this story and I would be that the woman was not Homeschooling her kids adequately.
