I brushed off my car last night at midnight, and shoveled a path to the street. This morning, as I went out with Penny-The-Prancing-Pitbull, the plow had blocked my nice little path, and the car was buried again. I am going to have to cancel my student’s Piano lesson today, as he is almost 15 miles away, and i will never get my car out in time. I will be spending the day doing telephone errands, I guess, and shoveling.
Thank God I still have POWER!
And at least half a tank of heating Oil.

This morning was awful. the snow is no longer fluffy and heavy, nor is it wet and heavy, It is now FROZEN solid and has to be hacked at, chipped at, and hauled off across the street to be deposited in the woods.
Oh...and it’s HEAVY.
Penny is ignoring me...pretending to be asleep, but she is going to have to go out one more time before i go to bed.
