The President made it abundantly clear to the press that there were others that briefed him on the matter other than General Flynn and that that is how he came to know that General Flynn had flubbed some of the material matters.
Again, I am confident the President knows exactly what is up. What he hasn’t revealed is what he is planning to do and again he made it clear that he will never reveal what his tactical plans are.
The Obama people in the so-called shadow deep state mystical dimension Land of Oz are not as smart as they think they are. They have been lured into a false sense of security because for years the republicans have defined stupidity down leaving Obamanoids to think they are somehow masters when in reality they’re just a different breed of stupid. They may have some bright ones here and there but organizationally they are morons. That’s not name-calling so much as it is a summary of a sad state of affairs.
If the intent was to undermine the President by retaining an ability to tap into conversations and messages, released selectively to the press, and try to whip up public remorse over the election outcome forcing a resignation or a loss of credibility, whatever, the result is they have failed miserably and continue to do so. They are delusional and stupid, not ready for the big leagues yet somehow the republicans were so much worse leaving the Obama morons as the default choice until the blue collar patriot billionaire stepped into the ring.
The best that can be hoped for now is that the general public will see the spectacle of an unprofessional press and political hacks losing one battle after another to the point of embarrassment. Even the toppling of Flynn is a loss for the left because it was much ado about nothing at all other than the President has zero tolerance for error at that level.
Jim should add a 'Duh!' icon so that the most banal & obvious headline "news" can be easily ridiculed. For those not in Rio Linda, the only interesting component to these stories are the shadow counter-attacks being waged by the Trump team.
Consider that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. In other words, just because it's not being publicized doesn't mean it's not occurring. But we can draw certain inductive conclusions from the curious lack of visibility of certain key players from the previous regime.
For instance, where are the 3 IT brothers? Where's BHO? Do we really think that once they have all the leakers either apprehended or identified that they're going to just be cruising around? I'd bet dollars to donuts there's already a few locked up in dispersed black sites.
This isn't some silly political game. Rather, this is espionage and treason at the highest levels which to seek to purposely undermine the government in a state of near war ie operating under a Congressional approved authorization of force. As such, these traitors can be subject to military justice, which means a cigarette, blindfold and execution.

BTW - regarding our earlier discussions on Italy - I recently recalled walking along the front beach area and seeing young Italians holding hands and enjoying each other's presence - with a black-clad grandma walking about 20 feet behind them. So, at least in the early '80s, they still held to some sort of convention - in extreme southern Italy at least.....
I get forgetful. I think I did tell you about my friend’s father in Sicily who just looked up at a girl in the window and waved and the father went to his house asking what his intentions were. I know it happens in some parts of Sicily but I didn’t think the mainland. Funny.
I was down south - other than the port city Brindisi, it was very agricultural and I witnessed artichoke farmers walking behind a plow horse...I doubt areas like Naples and so forth were the same but so much of Italy is “small-town” beautiful that it may be more widespread than we think.

Most folks like the historic places and tend to hit Rome, Pisa, etc., but I liked the country in between all that.
The little town of Specchiolla, where I lived was really nice during the Summer - would love to take the wife to see the sights some day but have an aversion to flying that long - especially internationally as I hate to 'roll the dice" with all the terrorism in the world these days.
Of course, Leonardo da Vinci Airport is probably pretty secure - when I was there, they had a contingent of forces with Uzis all through the place and even bunkered between the runways - they were really no-nonsense and that was before the days of rampant terrorism.
and those areas sound beautiful. I will go to see them thanks. I remember being a kid 40 years ago and they had the machine guns. I wouldn’t see a law enforcement holding them again until the World Trade Center attack. Everybody in the city was holding what looked like toy guns. Toy machine guns. at least to me because I don’t know guns.
