Hope And Change: You'd never guess this from the end-of-the-world treatment President Trump gets in the mainstream press, but his election has unleashed a wave of optimism about the economy we haven't seen in more than a decade. This is huge news that has big implications about economic growth.
The latest business leaders' survey from JPMorgan Chase finds a dramatic increase in optimism among the 1,400 middle-market executives polled. It found that 80% of these executives are optimistic about the economy, which is nearly double the share expressing optimism just one year ago. And it's the highest level since this survey began seven years ago.
These executives, the survey found, "expect improved performance in the global, national and local economies, as well as their own businesses."

Love that Trump Effect!
Great! The “middle-market” is where we need the optimism.
Someone here made the comment that we don’t hate Trump as much as the MSM is telling us we do.
I haven’t felt like this since Ronald Reagan was first elected!
Again, like a long, national nightmare is ending.
But here inside the Beltway (I’m visiting; I don’t live here), it’s the end of the world as we know it. I’m staying in a nice hotel in downtown DC and the sheeple love Obama, watch MSNBC and CNN and believe everything they hear.
I think there’s something in the water here that makes people brain dead. A guy from Western PA who used to work for me - and the son of my best friends, who are very conservative - married a very liberal Palestinian Christian. I’ve only seen him occasionally over the course of the last 10 years, but he told me they took their children to the White House the week after the election “to say good-bye”. I don’t think he appreciated my response: “My God, have you gone completely nuts?!”
Inside the beltway they are getting their long-deserved comeuppance.
DC went 94% for Hillary!.
