Mexicos foreign minister says his government will seek the intervention of the United Nations if necessary to defend the human rights of its citizens caught up in the Trump administrations tough new approach to illegal immigration.
Speaking on the eve of Thursdays meetings with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Luis Videgaray said at a meeting with officials from the U.N. human rights office that Mexico does not have to accept provisions that one government wants unilaterally to impose on another.

The Onion lives!!!
Strange times indeed!
Illegal aliens have the right to be removed from the country.
We have the responsibility to our citizens to do it.
Bring it on, bean dip.
I look forward to trolling the Mexican envoy with fart sound effects.
Mexico
Is he going to die for his cause? Just wondering, need to get on with dinner.
No, you do not have the right to invade another nation. Drop dead, and take the UN with you.
SCREW MEXICO!
Our UN ambassador should strike preemptively with a resolution that it is our human right to be secure in our borders and not be invaded
People in this country illegally have no right to stay. What is Mexico arguing for?
Knock yourself out, Mexico. Yawn.
Veracruz would be a great location for the UN!
They need to do that concerning Mexicans in Mexico.
I find it interesting that he would be concerned about only using legal means given that the mexicans in the U.S. he is talking about committed ILLEGAL acts to get into the U.S. and the U.S. is just using legal means to evict them. LOL
What is Mexico’s policy towards foreigners who cross it’s borders illegally?
on what basis, what human rights international law do they rely upon to keep the US from returning illegal Mexican aliens to Mexico??
Simple. We have immigration laws. Mexico has immigration laws. All countries in the world have immigration laws. What human rights are being violated?
“The government of Mexico will act by all means legally possible to defend the human rights of Mexicans abroad, particularly in the United States, he said.”
You mean Mexicans ILLEGALLY in the US? The US has veto power in the UN A$$hole!
Oh No! The UN might write a stern letter! Let them TRY to bring blue helmeted troops in! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Mexico doesn’t want its own citizens to come home.
