If this Kurds get torqued off by the Turks they can always blow the dam.
The Turks are slipping away as allies and if we do improve relations with Russia they can piss off.

Why would people who live by the dam blow it up.
Do you really think that Turkey is pissed off because of the US? Do you really think their hatred of the Kurds is because of harm the Kurds have done in the past?
Turkey has a clear history of genocide. They have never once admitted to doing it. Constant denials since WWI.
The strong military in Turkey has been the only thing keeping Islamic extremism in check since the era following WWI. That was eliminated this past summer with the “coup attempt”. Most honest informed observers have concluded that the coup was a fau coup.
Soon the referendum will make Erdogan’s current “emergency” powers permainent. He has jailed all the political opposition, killed the top military officers, fired or jailed academic critics and closed all press that says anything critical of him. Is he already a dictator?
This is not as simple as supporting a NATO member.
