You left off the already existing taxes that are already taken from the parent to support public school. Next time, run a comparison between what the parent is already spending in taxes vs a different program that would change the system to a voucher program. That way your scenario will be more honest and closer to reality.

My school taxes are $2850/year.
If I didn’t have to pay school taxes, tuition would be doable.
I don’t expect the government to fund my choices. I expect them to get out of the way of my choices.
