The dictionary says that “doofuses” is the plural of doofus. Personally though, I prefer to put a latin spin on it and use doofae (pronounced doof-eye). Just my 2 cents....
I thought plural of that root word would be spelled as ‘Dufi’,as seen in
Octopi. But we both know, few Americans recognize or ever use that form, preferring the more common “uses”.
