Interesting, and Brit law may be the foundation of ours, but after all this time, US law has become its own.
How is someone out of office impeached and what does it matter (impeachment, that is)without conviction, especially if there is immunity from criminal liability?
Altho, I do think he could lose pension and security detail if convicted.

It’s the leaks by Hillary that trump was being investigated. There are tweets in the summer fall with these accusations.
If convicted of treason, he would lose a lot of “perks”.
