We ultimately get the government that we deserve. I get that Trump may be our last chance to preserve the Republic. I think he has about 2 years to start getting things in order (borders, fiscal situation etc). We shall see.

The interview reminds me of what I liked about Bush — a self-deprecating sense of humor and his honoring of our veterans. But it also makes me suspect that he now is in a position he has wanted to be in for years. That is, going on the MSM talk show circuit. Having friendly chats with the liberal talk show hosts. Getting applause from their trained seal audiences. The Establishment media loves me again! The Bushes are such weasels. They always have craved the love of the Establishment media and other Establishment types. They’d sell out their loyal conservative defenders in a second to get it.
