On the night of the election, a student in the Pause threatened to beat up [College Republicans President Emily] Schaller, calling her a “f***ing moron.” Over the next couple of days, she overheard multiple students threaten to hurt the next conservative or Republican they saw. Vice President of St. Olaf College Republicans Kathryn Hinderaker ’19 had a similar experience.
“I think one of the hardest things was, the second day, I went into Buntrock and someone yelled from the bottom, ‘if you voted for Trump, you better be f***ing scared.’ Everyone clapped and applauded,” Hinderaker said. “Obviously, it didn’t feel super safe.”

Yep, the ELCA synod hasn’t believed in the Bible for decades. They are all-in for homosexuality, abortion, and all of the other anti-biblical Leftist causes. I wish that they would stop calling themselves “Christian.” They aren’t even “cultural Christians.” They would qualify as being what sociologist Christian Smith has termed as “moralistic therapeutic deists.”
Why aren’t Trump and his Republican allies making an issue of this type of nonsense? They could be raising funds for a litigation war chest.

As a Christian who was raised in the Lutheran Church, and who was groomed to attend Fort Wayne (but declined), and who served in lay ministry in the Missouri Synod, I say this:
The problem is two-fold:
First, generally, that we identify with a fallen sinner - Luther, Calvin, Menno, Wesley, et al - before Christ [I Corinthians 1:12];
Secondly, specifically, that Lutherans, no matter how doctrinally conservative, are deathly afraid of exhorting and enforcing sanctification, for fear of preaching “works righteousness”.
Please do not tell me I am mistaken. I have decades of experience with “doctrinally pure” Lutherans (Wisconsin Synod, Missouri Synod, Lutheran Church of the Reformation, and others) who are often as worldly as secular persons in non-doctrinal ways.
This syndrome is actually a joke among Christians of other denominations: While others dance, drink, whatever, in the sinless freedom of Heaven, Lutherans just sit around bored, because they pursued every carnal pleasure while on Earth.

What is going on at “Christian” colleges and seminaries is much bigger than just an isolated “liberal” denomination: It is the Long March Through the Institutions discourtesy of the Frankfurt School.
Most so-called Christian colleges and seminaries are hotbeds of Marxist indoctrination, and hence, of heresy.
I cannot name a “Christian” school I trust at this time.
