The “key” to reducing healthcare costs is consumers knowing what healthcare costs. Insurance hides the true cost of healthcare, because the insured don’t give a crap what it costs to pay for a doctor’s office call to diagnose the sniffles. If the cost is $500, who cares? The insurance pays for it.
Damn brainless pricks with insurance costs me 300 to 400% more for my healthcare because I pay cash. I’ve had it up to my eyeballs with assholes who use insurance to pay 100% for everything from hangnail treatment to toe fungus that can be treated with a $1 ointment from Walmart.
My rant isn’t directed at you personally; I’m just blowing off steam after being ripped off again by another damn quack.

I have EXCELLENT health insurance, however I found out that if I paid CASH of my office visits it was 75% less than if my insurance company were charged!! I pay CASH for everything unless it is an expensive procedure!!! If EVERYONE would do this the costs would come down, right now the way the deductables are for most people they are forced to pay anyway!!! This has NOT however brought the cost down don’t know why!!!!
Trump is smart. I would not write this off as Trump "falling" for something. Trump is in the middle of this deal. If somehow it were to pass it would be the negotiated deal Trump himself worked out if we are to believe what Pence and conservative House members are saying. It started as the Ryan bill but then Trump got involved and started dealing. Thus it would be known as TrumpCare not RyanCare.
It appears that it may not pass anyway so we will see what they do next if it doesn't pass.

This bill will not reduce premiums and the conservatives will not vote for it. Mark Levin has a surge to call House reps and tell them to vote no on it and he is threatening to target several liberal Republicans like we did Eric Cantor if they target anyone in the Freedom Caucus for not voting for this. Dave Brat was on Hannity’s radio program tonight and he said he does not know why they don’t want to do what is best unless they are afraid insurance companies will go bankrupt. Mike Lee was on Fox today and said it is not going to pass.
Why not have 3 insurance choices? 1st choice is major medical only covering hospitalization. 150 a month. 2nd choice is medical with copay is 200 dollars a month and a 50 dollar copay and 3rd is best medical at 350 a month but not another dime spent.
i just fixed our medical problems in 2 minutes.
