..DJT made two large mistakes in this: giving full support to the Ryan debacle, and then publicly blaming the Freedom Caucus and Heritage for its demise. Attacking the part of the political spectrum that put him in the Whitehouse is not going to help...

Trump’s “Brilliance” and “Art of the Deal” are fracturing our party!

I want to know who in the heck advised him to support Ryancare, calling it a “beautiful” thing, and then attack the Freedom Caucus?

Trump needs to look in the mirror! Nobody told him to tell us he was going to repeal Obamacare at each and every campaign rally! If it was wasn’t his intention to push this, then he should’ve kept his yap shut!

Note to Donald: You’re going to see future rallies begin to have fewer and fewer people. You can’t suck up to guys like Ryan, while ignoring your campaign promises and think that a rally will make it all better. The FC isn’t you enemy...Ryan and McConnell are!

There’s a reason why my congressman, McGovern, is referred to by MA radio as The McGovern Crime Family. Every two years my town is traded back and forth between McGovern and Neal, both bums.

Trump has put a lot of Goldman Sachs people in his administration. I haven’t seen any complaints about that.

>The question, at this point, is which party is destroying itself faster?

Would depend on which\how many of the electorate have finally opened their eyes, taken off their knee-pads and *DO* something about the false dichotomy.

Seeing the amount of angst here vs. the Freedom Caucus, saving the (R) bacon failing to support Single-Payer Lite, I’d say FR is sadly too shill already.

Ryan’s wife is a big-time Democrat lobbyist.

Paul Ryan's wife is a registered Democrat, who lobbies for liberal causes?

Elaborate, please.

I think single payer is the next stop and it will pass with minority Republican support, majority Democrat support and Trump will sign it facing a veto proof margins.

My prediction 7 years ago, just didn't think it would happen the first term of Trump.

Pray for Trump to wake up, he is not playing 4D chess, he isn't even in the game right now. Why he supported this bill is beyond me. Why he didn't tell that judge to stuff it is also beyond me. The MSM praised Obama when he ignored the Judges.

and his wife once had connections to the financial industry.

Maybe you should look into her one America proposal.

It is a defining moment for Trump and the fate of the nation. Trump is no fool, and he won't get fooled by Ryan again.

Prayers up.

There is an office that is only rarely mentioned, but should right now be the focus of conservatives in the House.

The office is of the “Parliamentarian of the United States House of Representatives.” The current Parliamentarian is Thomas J. Wickham Jr.

He is the one man who determines what parts of Obamacare can go to the conference committee for repeal, from the House. There is also a Senate Parliamentarian, who does the same for the senate.

Just a few days ago, he chimed in to say that the Ryan proposal could have gone a LOT further to repeal Obamacare in the conference committee.

So right now, the Freedom Caucus needs to get an explicit list of every part of Obamacare that can go to the conference committee for repeal.

Then demand a “clean bill” with ALL of this be voted on by the House. This will be the MAXIMUM amount of Obamacare that can be repealed right now.

Conservatives in the senate would do the same there.

More than anything else, this would be a “separating the sheep from the goats” vote. It would give Republican liberals an opportunity to commit political suicide by voting to keep Obamacare.

It would give the people clarity about who supports the people, and who supports globalism and special interests.

By demanding a clean bill to go to conference, the truth will win out.

And don't forget Tom Cotton. He's another RINO just like those guys in the FC. A real conservative supports our version of Obamacare, not because it eliminates government from controlling healthcare, but because it is OUR version of Obamacare and that makes it better.

Eating a crap sandwich from republicans is still a crap sandwich. But with ours you get a little more bread and a little less crap. I'm not remembering that as one of Trump's promises during the campaign, but maybe you do.

“He (DJT) let Ryan hang himself out in a public that knew what he was doing. It is all on Ryan and his friends and Trump had no hand in it.”

Didn't we have enough Super Secret, Super Genius plans under GW, to last a life time?

Ryancare failed because of Ryan's inability to bring a consensus...

I hope it failed because it was ObamaCare 2.0. Every talking head this morning is arguing that the Freedom caucus kept refused to repeal ObamaCare. Nothing could be farther from the truth and even Freepers are falling for it as if something is better than nothing with no consideration of what that something is.

Most of our side are not really on our side.

Who here thought that Trump’s election was going to cure us of RINOism. I sure didn’t. Ryan, Juan and Linda haven’t changed a bit. They couldn’t govern then. They can’t govern now.

I am glad the FC stopped the legislation but I am not going to blame Trump for Ryan’s bill. Just saying Cruz is not the answer since we would have had Hillary.
