A scotus pick that goes to a progressive church..probably another Kennedy I disagree. If that church had that kind of influence on him, we would have seen it reflected in his decisions before he was nominated. Instead, his history has been to decide cases based just on what the law says.

Cruz saw Ryancare for the unmitigated crap it is, and he told us so. Tom Cotton did the same, and so did the FC. They are to be praised for not selling out to healthcare by big government when the rest of the party was rushing to embrace it. They acted in a conservative manner, which is in short supply today in DC.
That Trump publicly shames and blames the FC for saving us from being subjected to Obamacare by republicans is a flagrant red flag to each and every person supporting Trump and the vision for American he shared with us during the campaign. Feel good nonsense like he's playing 4-D chess and hanging Ryan out to dry is not supported by the facts in evidence and is the kind of stuff only a Pollyanna would spout. Serious people see this for what it is and I am very serious when it comes to government controlling 20% of our economy. Market forces work when given the chance, but you have to believe in them first.

Amen to that. What else can we expect from a gang of liars, thieves and perverts? Who else would spend millions of dollars for an election to an office that pays $172 k/yr.?
For most of them, memorizing law books is their sole accomplishment in life. For the rest, being stupid is hard work.

I think single payer is the next stop and it will pass with minority Republican support, majority Democrat support and Trump will sign it facing a veto proof margins. After 2016 I resolved to stop making predictions. But if yours comes true, I could not be surprised.
To: bray
Cruz would have crushed Hilary Clinton. Even the biased mainstream media polls had Cruz beating Hilary Clinton for the most part.
To: wastoute
Trump is not punching back. Trump needs to start hurting these enemies and he needs to start hurting them bad. The more he lets them take scalps without retaliating is making him weaker by the day, which, of course, is their plan.

I also think we are headed for single payer. It like amnesty its the easy way out. Republicans never fail to take the easy way out.

Is that why he first of all won nearly every state that did not have open primaries He sure won every state where the people didn't get to vote.

If you can just get Trump to shut up about the Freedom Caucus being traitors maybe wha you are posting will matter.
Right now we are getting our bell rung and ObamaCare continues on no matter whether Ryan's bill passed pr not.

But that wont stop all of the concern trolls from telling us that Trump is just not going to be successful. Make not of me because I want you to remember that I said if he continues down this path with Ryan and Priebus the Senate will be lost maybe even the House and for sure he will be a one termer. Having said that, no one wants him to succeed more than I do, because one more democrat term and we will likely embrace Islam.

“I came, I saw, and YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!” is clickbait, by definition, regardless of the source.
And the Allen West blog can be posted in full. He kind of rambles before he makes a point, so it’s better to do so in any event.

And, by my own estimation, the balance of support for Freedom on this FreeRepublic site is likewise tilting more left than I recall in the past. Yes and threads that used to get hundreds of comments some times only get half a dozen.
Rush is all over the House Leadership today, says Trump supporters will not blame Trump but he needs a win. I am trying hard not to blame Trump but 4D chess is not working.

What the hell happened to REPEAL AND REPLACE? It matters not who is in the WH, the DC establishment will always get its way unless or until the American people actually and physically remove the scoundrels and then make an example of what will happen to them when they screw over the people. Unfortunately, screwing over the American people is just collateral damage to them padding their own and their crony's pockets which is their primary objective of being in public office. Although he may want to, Trump will not drain the swamp. The fact that Trump appeared to fall for and supported Ryan's bogus health care bill (obozocare light) exposes what Trump is really all about. I know it's only been 3 months and it sounded so good but I now have serious doubts that Trump is in it to make American great again. It was a good mantra, it got him to the WH.

Who here thought that Trumps election was going to cure us of RINOism. I had high hopes but they began to wain as soon as Trump buddied up with Ryan and Reince.

The Rinos sent the repeal bills to zero numerous times because they knew he would veto it.
Now that Trump would pass it, they do not want to go on record as supporting a repeal of zerocare. Because political donations from the insurance industry would dry up.
God help us.

Get real.
I liked Ted Cruz early on before Trump announced and then I switched to Trump.
If Cruz couldn't even win his own party's primaries to get nominated, he was never going to come close in the general against Hillary. Hillary would have clobbered him.

A ridiculas claim with not a shred of evidence...I voted for trump because I had no choice but he is a rhino...he just announced he was going to work with the democrats and throw the conservatives under the bus.

"....A ridiculas (sp?) claim with not one shred of evidence...."Well, did Cruz win enough primaries to get the nomination or didn't he?
The evidence you claim isn't there, is. He didn't win enough primaries to even stay in the race. What more evidence do you need?
And who thought Trump was a conservative? I didn't. That's why I voted for him. He's not a far-right ideologue. Never would have been elected if he was.
