We traded Ted Cruz for this.....really!!!!

Yeah, we traded away a Clinton landslide for a somewhat conservative President Trump.

The vast majority of opposition to Paul Ryan’s healthcare bill was from representatives who thought it was too conservative (i.e. it went too far in reducing subsidies), including 193 Democrats and at least 6 Republicans. Only about 18 representatives, all Republican, opposed it because it was too liberal (i.e. it didn’t go far enough in repealing Obamacare).”

Other counts had 25 from the freedom caucus opposing it. Whether 18 or 25, when added to 6 other Republicans, that left only 208 to 215 votes in favor. With all Democrats voting no (look at that party discipline !), Republicans could only lose 23 votes and still pass it.

It is apparently too heavy a burden for Republicans to carry alone. They need a bipartisan bill. That means more compromise with liberals and a less conservative bill.

"Apparently DJT does."

It could be a fake maneuver like he's pulled on the leftist media. If real, he (and we) will come to regret it.

This sickening title tells us nothing new, but it sure looks like something mind blowing.

You know, you have a point there. Trump is pretty smart. Trump learned a lot of lessons last week, like trust your instincts, and the Establishment is not really going to help you.
Ryan thinks he controls things. HE is about to get a wake up call.

There is going to have to be a reckoning on who the leader of the GOP is at this moment.

Watch for Trump to solicit ideas from both sides of the aisle, ignoring the establishment politicians.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am sure forcing veterans into substandard care was beautiful to trump somehow. If you forgot his reform party run and fell for his act, then, what can Constitutionalists say? Next up, amnesty for dreamers, a Trillion dollar stimulus union bailout, because we didn’t have enough of that in the last ten years. Now I’m thinking he is just going to wall illegals in.. if indeed there really is a wall built.

There is no way to provide “free” health care.

How do you get people to face reality?

You let reality smack them in the face.

We know that there is no utopia for government, but we really want to believe there is a utopia for health care.

There isn’t.

And, typical of all utopian dreams, some jackasses have come in to try and make themselves some big money by preying on people’s feelings.

Yep. That is the point. It is only going to become a less conservative bill!

Your proof? Has he bailed out corporations with a nice taxpayer funded Christmas bonus? Did he try to force a bill that would give the neediest veterans substandard care via the management amendment? Is he saying we’re going to have to wirk something out on dreamers? Is he pointing his guns at the handful of Constitutionalists because he can’t do The Constitution? Betrayal of veterans should be a big red flag with all the warning bells.. the only folks in history to behave in such a manner were getting rid of the opposition for a nice lil dictatorship.
Putting illegals before veterans on healthcare is wrong.

Healthcare is one word

And it's a RATaganda term at that. The Rs shouldn't even use it.

Did you forget the other legislation.....

What a convenient memory.....

Ryancare failed because of Ryan's inability to bring a consensus...

Ted Cruz is not now nor will he ever be a ‘natural born’ US citizen.

He might be a naturalized citizen.

(if he's actually a citizen at all)
