Paul Ryan’s Catastrophic Lack of Political Skill and Judgment
American Thinker ^ | March 27,2017 | By John Ellis

With control of House, Senate and the Presidency, and with so much that cries out to be done after eight years of Obama inaction and/or mismanagement, Republicans have a golden opportunity to advance their own electoral fortunes by doing well for their country.

But all of this is endangered by the fact that their major congressional leader is a man without political instincts, skills, or judgment. It’s unfair to say that he is a RINO, or to question his value to the party as the source of ideas that are sometimes very useful. But it is not unfair to say that he is a policy wonk who is in the wrong job. Wonks come up with ideas and hope that others will be persuaded by them. Political leaders have a quite different job to do: they must manage the political process by which those ideas may or may not come to fruition. Ryan is good in the first of these roles, and horribly unsuited to the second. He still behaves like a wonk and so regularly produces political chaos.

The failure of the AHCA was Ryan’s failure, not Trump’s: all of Trump’s negotiating skills and heroic efforts could not redeem the mess that Ryan had created. Much will now depend on whether congressional Republicans understand that they must find themselves a new Speaker if they and the President are not to suffer one embarrassing setback after another.

He had 7 years to put together a plan to repeal and replace. All hat and no cattle.

It was a typical GOPee Bait and Switch tactic that didn’t work this time.

Ryan fell off the mountain. His stinking head grew too large for his tiny mind and stupid brain. He got too big for his britches. The went from being a congressman to being a punk. Now he is useless.

I know only one thing, for sure. The natives out here are getting restless.

There’s a bunch of stuff we’ve had about enough of. We’re soon to be 60 days in the Big Chair, with the White House and majorities in both Houses on the Hill.

The Hill has been no help and the Courts are killing Trump’s agenda, or threatening to. We need Gorsuch appointed asap.

If that doesn’t take the wind out of the Soros Underground Shadow Government, what do you think comes next? F O R C E.

Ryan never seemed to have problems getting obama programs through the house.

How can you say Ryan is “a man without political instincts, skills, or judgment.” He is one of the most powerful men in the United States. You don’t get there without skills. There are only two explanations of why Republicans are failing: Ryan is actually a Democrat or there are photos of him in an embarrassing position with a young boy.

“Ryan never seemed to have problems getting obama programs through the house.”

rhino ryan did a far better job than even pelosi of funding demonic obamas Marxist agenda,

He needs to go, its a mistake to ever think this spineless soros tool will ever support President Trump the way he supported that fly-infested Sunni Muslim obama creature,

He is given over to the same globalists NWO evil spirit, the one that will ultimately bring an anti-Christ,

House Republican Steering Committee.

Any article, blog, or essay that doesn't mention this is BULL!

(And the first rule of the House Republican Steering Committee is: no one talks about the House Republican Steering Committee.)

I’m really at a loss to understand how someone so politically tone-deaf has risen to such heights in the GOP so as to be a VP candidate and Speaker of the House. I can think of nothing that he’s ever accomplished of note, and quite a few abject failures. It’s just a head-scratcher.

Nonsense. He jabbed those in his OWN party who shot his agenda all to pieces. And they richly deserve ever bit of scorn they are receiving.
