Trump calls critics' bluff: Will share intel on Obama spying
WorldNetDaily ^ | 3/30/2017 | Garth Kant

WASHINGTON – It didn’t take long for a buzz of electricity to crackle through the glorified shoebox that is the White House press briefing room.

It was the news they’d all been waiting to hear.

Network reporters jumped on boxes to do live reports breathlessly passing on the news: The New York Times had just dropped a bombshell.

And then they all proceeded to miss the lead.

That was likely because the Times itself had buried the lead 10 paragraphs below the headline, which read: “2 White House Officials Helped Give Nunes Intelligence Reports.”

However, the tenth paragraph read: “But the officials’ description of the intelligence is in line with Mr. Nunes’s own characterization of the material.”

I don’t expect the average person to know the difference but that’s their job.

I’m waiting for Obama to sue Trump for lying about Obama’s surveillance of Trump. After all, if Trump is lying, Obama would have been out there defending himself from the first day that he was accused. Saying that he didn’t do it is not enough, and to prove his innocence and that Trump had slandered him, Obama would have sued, and democrats would have had a big case for finally removing Trump from office, their number one wet dream.

It's also their job to speak proper English with correct grammar, but none do or have for decades. A bunch of functional illiterates with no real education or sense of personal pride or shame for sloppy, slovenly reportage.

"She told he and I just yesterday..." That kind of ruptured grammar makes my ears bleed, and my dear departed English teacher Mother spin in her grave.

So maybe this is the information that Trump saw that gave him the intelligence that he was spied on by Obama and company. Interesting on how it is being released.

I love how trump plays the idiots. I hate that he drags out the punchline like an Episode of “The Apprentice”. Such drama! Get to the part where the Muslim never returns from Tahiti already!

It is interesting. Seems to be a game of keeping Comey out of the loop. Nunes said he read “dozens” of reports. And then they asked the FBI to produce relevant info. But now anything missing or doctored will be known. The is why the FBI is stalling. Letting the Dems see these documents sets them up for obstruction charges when they collude in any way w law enforcement to cover tracks.

Don’t show a thing until some people testify under oath. Lets get a bunch of them for perjury, then we can get to the bigger crimes.

Pardon my incredulity but everyone has been spied by NSA since that AT&T guy back in 2005 broke the news that the Bush administration had everyone’s lines tapped.

Trump has known he’s been wire tapped since before he ran for office, at least since he was making his birth certificate inquiries in 2011.

For the Feds to admit the truth would mean the death of their organizations. That’s the deep State pushback, but it MUST be done.

Lead paragraph

The term is sometimes spelled "lede"[2] with a claim it was a historical spelling intended to distinguish it from the homograph lead;[1] however, the spelling 'lede' does not appear in any journalism style books or textbooks before 1959.

“In the ordinary course of business, national security staff discovered documents

well, that's funny. Didn't Comey and Clapper and all those intel people just finish telling us they looked high and low, under the cupboards and in the attic, and found nothing? And here they seem to be 'in the ordinary course of business'. somebody's got some 'splainin' to do.

It is quite likely that the FBI investigation of the Russian Affair — like their investigation of the Mafia — will take decades to complete. If ever there were an over-hyped organization it is the FBI. One would expect more from an organization whose members massed together could fill a very large stadium. We’ve had Meuller, Freeh and now Comey. All have managed to maintain their confraternity which acts as secretly as Opus Dei or Skull and Bones. Drain the swamp!

If the desire was for Obama to repair his reputation outside of his base, your point is well-taken.

However, by leaving the accusation out there, he virtue-signals his base that he (broke laws, committed treason, played dirty) against Trump; in his world, ends always justify the means.
