Good. I love when the underdog wins.
Sick of UCONN gloating.
Congrats Bulldog Ladies! Job well done.

My State FB friends and I are very happy tonight. I was at State during the Babe era. Dak was at game and he was, too. Even my Ole Miss friends are happy and that is very unusual. Friends on FB were posting Keep Believing signs before the game.

I've watched several of the tournament games and Uconn relies on getting to the free throw line about 10 more attempts minimally against their opponents....its a learned tactic...
congrats to the MSU ladies....
its not good to have one team always being the champion....
now we know they can be beat...

I have no idea what you are talking about. Babe? Dak? :D
I don’t follow sports, especially UCONN; and am prolly the only person in the state who doesn’t follow them.
Good for your team!

This is VERY good for women’s basketball. When the outcome of tournaments seems monotonously predetermined, people refuse to watch. I know. I am a big sports fan, but have avoided the ladies’ march badness for that reason.
There will now be more interest, I predict. I wish I’d have been watching this one.

OK...there are 2 of us! LOL
IMO UCONN is a huge waste. Their budget, overpaid corrupt staff [from the top down]; sport program. How about producing world-class scholars?
At least, their ice cream is awesome! I’ll give them that. :)

So now it comes down to Sunday at 6:00 on ESPN. This season’s match up history;
On 01/23/17 in their regular season game vs.Mississippi State, Gamecocks won 64-61.
On 03/05/17 in the SEC tourney vs.Mississippi State, Gamecocks beat them 59-49.

I shouldn’t tell you.
But since you’re such a goodguy.... the UCONN dairy barn, Horsebarn Hill Rd, Storrs; I think they close at 7pm [winter], will open to 10 or 11 after semester ends. Cash only. Worth a trip. :)
Ice cream made on site, from voag-dept cows. Been going there since I was a mere child. Their cage-free eggs are nice and fresh.
They even sell *true* half-gallons of their ice cream. :P

At one time, the vo-ag program at UCONN was a premier education. It started as an ag school in the 1880s.
Now it’s all about drinking and sports.
Go for the ice cream. Stay for the ice cream. :P

That's a smear unworthy of a Freeper.
There are a lot of female athletes that are not homosexuals, and insinuating differently is grossly unfair to the girls that just want to compete in a sport they love.
Don't be a shallow thinker.

Wow. So glad about this. Not a hoops fan but live in CT. UConn womens’ fans are an annoying lot. Think rabid Hillary fans.
