Ryan is viewed as a lighter shade of BO’B
A heart and soul just as evil and dark but bleached on the outside This is not relevant. The darkness forms, showing itself and is still seen when the time is right to strike back.

If I am a small employer offering health insurance why should I be forced to cover adult children?

You shouldn't, but generally the company provides half (or more) of the cost of the employee's premium, and the employee covers the balance of his family premium. So it should be no skin off your nose.

Why should any private enterprise including an insurance company be compelled to confirm to your vision of beneficial.

They shouldn't, but if they're smart they'd probably do it anyway.

The "young immortals" generally don't buy insurance because they don't usually need it, unless they get injured, or until they get married and pregnant....have kids.

Since they generally don't have claims, their additional fiscal presence in the pool brings down premiums for everybody else.

And by the way..nobody is forcing the parent to insure these young basement dwellers.

Maybe you have to cover them, but you can charge to cover them.

They charge an extra $400 a month to cover adult children even in government jobs in California.

The bill has bailouts for them.

That's enough reason to oppose it right there, unless you're talking about HRP startup money. The high risk pool is the proper way to deal with "pre-existing conditions" and provide "universal access".

They keep premiums down for healthy working families, and properly structured are very easy to fund for the benefit of the uninsurable 1%.

Just let it collapse and go free market.Uninsured can go to the ER like always and we save trillions. The constitution does not guarantee you health insurance policy. It guaranteed that you can buy it if you want it. It is a matter of priority. Many want $15o a moth texting—others want insurance. Communism just doesn’t work.Never has.The poor get medicaid anyway—did you know that? Just dump this and move on. It is a total train wreck and I love train wrecks.

an extra $400a month

That's a lot, it sounds like they have caught up with our premium rates.

Point is though, nothing I know of says you can’t bill for covering adult children.

I agree. Rand Paul is fast becoming a favorite of mine as well.

Or any other aged children. I'm agreeing.

I also stated that the final decision to insure (or not) falls to the parent. Any family add-ons should cost the employee, not the employer.

Typical RINO.

Trump isn’t a policy wonk. Unfortunately, Bannon has pretty much declared war on conservatives.

Here in WI, Nehlan was not a good candidate against Ryan. Lots of folks from across the state went to Ryan’s District to campaign for Nehlan who used a yellow dump trump in his advertising - to dump Ryan.

It is difficult to dump someone who holds a high status in congress. But remember WI went to Trump and more folks here did NOT like Ryan’s dissing of Trump right after that blabbermouth let out the “****y tape”. Most of us were in no way going to change our votes, no matter what garbage came out against Trump. Ryan was on the airwaves here in WI just slamming Trump. We all figure he knew ahead of time about that tape.

When late in the game, Ryan held a rally here in WI where he “UNinvited” Trump, he was honestly nearly booed off the stage. At that point, I was confident WI would go to Trump. Ryan was on stage with Gov. Walker, Sen. Ron Johnson et al and Ryan vamoosed REAL quickly. We even heard/saw this on the news - him getting booed. Warmed my heart.

Who can you get to run a primary against someone like Ryan? Difficult perhaps. If he can be voted out of speaker that would be a start. Let’s trust Trump that he will deal with Ryan in good time. He’s given enough rope ....

Fingers crossed. That Trump chose to spend so much time with Paul and Mulvahey (sp?) is a very good sign.

Now THAT was one great story. Wisconsin just must find someone to primary against Ryan. Surely there is someone.

We should wish for some sort of a PAC to move out these RINO Establishment guys and gals.

BTTT

You might want to look at this, House.

From Heritage in 2015 discussing HR 3762 that passed House/Senate and BO vetoed:

“Doesn’t the House bill qualify as an Obamacare repeal bill?”

“No. The bill does not even touch Obamacare’s main two entitlement expansions: the Medicaid expansion and the exchange subsidies.

The bill leaves all of Obamacare’s new insurance rules and regulations in place. It also leaves many of Obamacare’s taxes in place.”

Senate:
https://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/114-2015/s329

House:
https://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/114-2016/h6

LOOK at the ‘yea” votes for that bill especially from the crony conservatives at the House Freedom Caucus. Reagan must be spinning in his grave.

Enough of the phony grandstanding from the DC globalists including the House Freedom Caucus.

I wonder what Trump’s flexibility is? Will he actually allow for true insurance to be offered? The kind you have to buy before you are sick?

True health insurance is what you buy when you are young and healthy but which pays off when you are old and sick without the premium rising in the meantime. If the premium goes up when you get sick, it's a scam, not insurance.

Such policies exist for life insurance (not to be confused with health insurance). It's called level premium insurance. Most term life insurance is level premium. You croak when you croak, and they pay your beneficiaries.

Of course, term life insurance has a defined term (e.g., 30 years) after which it is not in force. But health insurance needs to last until you actually croak die.

However, for both types of insurance, there's a catch: you have to buy it while you are young and healthy.

That would be the ideal, anyway. In the real world, there would be a huge transition problem. Namely, all the folks who are old and sick who would have bought proper insurance when they were young and healthy, if it had been available. Any replacement plan must leave them whole, or it will fail.

Ryan thinks he is the Prime Minister and the one really running the country. He is trying to make Trump into the Head Of Ceremonies and a powerless President in a parliamentary system. It won’t work but he will be highly disruptive while he is having a run at it.

“Looks like we are stuck with Ryan. No one wanted the job, even Ryan, when Bohner resigned. The Repubs had to ‘force’ Ryan to take the speaker position.”

How many times have we heard the same excuse for getting rid of ‘Try’n Ryan’.....? NOBODY WANTS THE JOB.....

...are you serious? The Speaker of the House doesn’t have to be a member,..... surely, there are plenty of qualified, genuine Trump supporters who are willing to replace the establishment’s designated loser.

Part of my thinks that Ryan wants to be the prez someday and sees Trump as an obstacle to this.
