Move over, Democrats. There’s a new opposition party in town. And its name is CNN.
Opening his show this morning with a discussion of the emerging controversy over the unmasking of the names of Trump associates in intelligence intercepts, Chris Cuomo said, “so President Trump wants you to believe that he is the victim of a ‘crooked scheme.’ Those are his words. And here are our words: there is no evidence of any wrongdoing.”
So it’s Trump’s words vs. “our words.” As if Trump and CNN are two opposing political movements.

This is getting beyond biased reporting by CNN and getting into the realm of CNN establishing itself as a virtual opposition party to Trump.

At news conferences, I would like to have the RNC send a formal representative as an official “journalist”. I’d like to see President Trump call on CNN, and then say: “Having taken a question from the official Democrat spokesperson, I feel compelled to now take a question from the RNC …” and toss it over to a blatant ally who would ask a blatantly biased question against criminals in the Obama Admin.
If the media is going to continue its role as obama administration defense attorneys, then team Trump needs to make a serious move and empanel a grand jury. Enough of this B.S. the media needs to be officially put in its place.
