Such a badass with his gun and all, gunning down some guy walking. Next thing you know he’s like a toddler, wailing for his mcnuggets at the drive-thru.
Good for Henry, hope he gets the reward. Especially since he could have been blown away.

I know we should all hate the guy, but his sad ending kind of mutes that, I actually feel sorry for him.
I notice when these formerly bad-asses realize they have boxed themselves in a corner with no possible escape, they suddenly change. They get desperate and pine for better days of their childhood at the end. His desperation just to get a “happy meal”, when he knew any interaction with any human could lead to his undoing was really telling. In the end when they are hunted they become like a frightened child, trying to avoid the spanking that they know is coming. Only it is worse, as a father loves his kid, the punishment he had justly earned was not going to be applied with love.
He went bad, did evil for which there is no earthly forgiveness and once he killed that older gentlemen there was no way out. He had to know he was going to die and in the end he was as friendless as one could be. A sad ending and likely an even sadder final judgment, though I do not know what was in his heart at the end. Perhaps there was some repentance, he killed himself rather than getting in a gun battle that might have caused an officer injury or death.
Of course I am sure there are folks who justly celebrate his death and I do not excuse what he did or imply that thinking such is wrong, he got what was coming to him. Just that there is something so sad about this.

I’m guessing you’ll get flamed - but I hear ya. I think this way more about some younger black kid that does something terrible (or stupid) and pays the price. Not that some young gang-banger shouldn’t be killed robbing somebody - but the whole situation that put him in the gang.
Usually it comes down to no dad, no strong family bond, no faith. 80% of that due to the welfare policies of our government for the last 50+ years.
The only thing sad is that this loser didn’t kill himself before he shot that old guy. I feel no sadness for the jerk.
I personally would have hoped that the one that recognized him would not be named. This guy is most likely get death threats as we speak. I certain hope that the police are protecting him.
The only thing that the news media should have reported is that he was identified in the drive through line of a fast food restaurant. It has also put the staff and customers at risk at that location.

Actually, I’m with you. I found his diatribe sad. It’s my understanding that he led a decent life up to this point and really did snap(and that description-snapped-is overused).
I suppose we’ll learn more about him in coming days.

I don’t feel the least bit sorry for him. If he was so distraught, he should have just taken his own life from the beginning of this fiasco. Killing that innocent old man in cold blood was inexcusable and despicable.
Those are only at breakfast, with your choice of sausage or Canadian bacon.
