There’s a view from the top Hill on our land where I look across the valley that looks a lot like the Alps. Of course the mountains aren’t as high and they are not snowcapped. But the areas of Greenmeadow in between trees with mountains in the background is just beautiful.
There’s a lot of people around here that have grown up here, moved elsewhere, travel, and then settled back here for retirement. They say it’s prettier than any where they’ve been.
No I’m sure there are prettier places. And places just as pretty. But I like the prettiness coupled with low taxes, conservative people all around, few illegals or liberals, moderate weather, and cheap land! Can’t beat that combination.

Thank you for the tip on hanging baskets, hm! Your timing couldn’t have been better. I just took a walk down the hall or a notice to neighbors porch looks so pretty with a bunch of hanging baskets. I was thinking about getting some.
Now, do I need to plant outdoor plants in them or will indoor plants survive? My front porch gets a whole lot of sun so I’m thinking outdoor plants…

Buy one of the cheap 1-2 gallon sprayers. Fill only with water. Water every evening just a big. Never water in the sun. You may add water soluble fertilizer to keep full
LOL, I have to double check at what I’ve read a lot of snow. I’m 55 but have had numerous vision troubles along the way. I’m due for some new glasses, things are fuzzy, but going to get my eyes checked for me is like going to the dentist for other people. I find it incredibly frustrating. Sometimes I end up with new glasses that are worse than the old ones. So I’m procrastinating…
Not that I’m whining… OK yes I am whining. Lots of murmuring here. It’s hard for me to see and read the post on my phone. But my arms hurt too much for me to hold the tablet. So I struggle with the phone right now. If I go to the big computer, typing is a problem. I can use my voice recognition system But the headset pushes in my glasses and then I can’t see, and my ears hurt!
LOL!
I hope God is not trying to tell me to quit being on FR :-)
