The reason is that there are easily enough votes in Congress, which is dominated by the Establishment in both parties, to impeach and convict. They are chomping at the bit to do it, and if Trump balks them, they will do it. They will let him sit in the office and be a good, tame beast. But they will not allow him to govern. Then in a few years, they get the Establishment back in to make everything “right” again.
Just send everything to the SC.
But yeah, it’s the end of the experiment because we won’t always be in power.

In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.
Pretty clearly that means ALL other courts should stand down and suck it. Plus, Congress can even tell the Supreme to stand down.
Obama was The Establishment. He was their man. And the Establishment loved him.

DJT either comes to the point of meeting the challenge, or he won’t. We either have a free Republic, or we don’t. This is the time, this is the place.

Easier. for cities with sanctuary policies, disallow the entire STATE driver’s license for use as an acceptable ID. That would include for TSA/air travel, banking activities and government assistance. The majority of a state’s citizens where such lawlessness is tolerated, should be impaired as a consequence of the policies of their cities.
