If the republicans had filibustered the Sotomayor nomination and If the 9 turncoat republicans had voted against her they could have blocked her appointment as the 60 vote requirement to kill the filibuster was in effect at the time.

“Judge Sonia Sotomayor was confirmed by the Senate in a 68-to-31 vote on her nomination to the Supreme Court. All Democrats and independents present voted yes (Senator Edward M. Kennedy, who has been battling cancer, was not present for the vote). They were joined by 9 of the 40, or 23 percent of the Republicans in the Senate.”

I have zero sympathy for anyone who fights with a police officer and dies as a result.

Waco, Tx; Ruby Ridge, ID; 20 mi from Burns, OR.

Have an issue with the situation? take it to court.

I suggest you read up on Ruby Ridge in particular.

In 1989, an undercover agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms approached Mr. Weaver and pressured the mountain man to sell him sawed-off shotguns. Mr. Weaver at first refused, but the agent was persistent and Mr. Weaver eventually sold him two shotguns — thereby violating federal firearms law. A court official sent Mr. Weaver a notice to appear in court on the wrong day; after Mr. Weaver did not show up on the correct date, a Justice Department attorney (who knew of the error) got a warrant for his arrest. Federal agents then launched an elaborate 18-month surveillance of Mr. Weaver’s cabin and land.

There is a simple solution to ending the madness in government.

All of the noise about Trump's income tax should be turned against the libs.

Trump will make his returns public each and every year he is in office, not those years before.

But to get this, the congress must pass a law that requires each and every government employee, whether elected, appointed or hired, to undergo an annual audit by the IRS.

That would put n end to the corruption and in fact cause most of the crooks to seek a way to steal other than by holding public office.

You will have little luck convincing the vast amount of people who live to shine the boots of cops with their tongues.

She's just pissed off because her, Kagan, and Ginsburg were about to gut the Constitution like a trout...

Now they'll be reduced to writing inane Dissenting Opinions for the rest of their careers.
