Starbucks. THE place to go if you want your coffee to be poisoned by a terrorist.
I hope the nosedive is never ending.
How about just sticking to good coffee, providing a welcoming atmosphere and ditch the political crap?
The business reporters will never, ever, ever mention boycotts.
I see that Ben & Jerry’s seems to be presenting itself as a coffee shop now. Too bad they backed the wrong horse in the culture wars.
The kids all order the smoothies and frappuccinos. It’s like a soda shop. Caramel, whipped cream, fruit flavors . . .
I agree, the coffee tastes far to bitter to me.
After a few sips of the nasty plain breakfast coffee it went in the trash. We were in Vegas on a Class Reunion at one of the Casinos, it was the only coffee available. Thankfully I had mints in my purse. I was on my way for a Quilt shopping tour on a tour bus. It was hubby’s class reunion. And I was not sitting around hearing a bunch of old, old men talk, and knew none of the women and we sure didn’t have the same interest. New Yorker’s lower state, and Tennesseans just don’t have the same mind set.
If the CEO would shut hos pie hole and serve the product it would have probably been better for the stockholders/stakeholders but as it is, it’s probably too late. Time will tell.
I’m not setting foot in there.
Maybe besides shutting up and stop insulting half of their customer base, they should also start serving real coffee instead of those milkshakes and sparkle drinks they seem to have settled on.
What us the name of that coffee maker? It looks interesting.
Hint. Shut up and brew the coffee; with clean hands and a good attitude.
Haven’t set foot in SBX since the gun dust up. The local one is convenient for me and on the way to work. Go a few blocks out of my way to patronize the local diner now.
Their coffee is lousy. THe beans a burnt when the roast them.
It’s like drinking the McDonald’s coffee of years ago.
And with Starbuck’s pretentious attitude, it is not a place I am inclined to spend my money.
McDonald’s, to their credit has really good coffee now. The food is not so great any longer, but it’s a known quantity.
It is a Chemex. Lots of history behind it. Invented by a chemist (thus, the beaker look of the pot design) who wanted to design a pot for the perfect cup of coffee.
There are many pour-over type pots available now, as well as knock-offs...but there is only one Chemex...and it does brew the perfect pot of coffee!
Hi.
“And be sure to remind the Christians that theyre not welcome there.”
Yep, a couple billion customers might help their bottom line.
