Donald Trump said he has no relationship with Barack Obama.
In an interview with “CBS This Morning” Monday, the president was asked about his relationship with his predecessor after he made claims on Twitter that the Obama administration ordered a wiretap against Trump Tower before the presidential election.

“Well, he was very nice to me, but after that we’ve had some difficulties,” Trump said. “So, it doesn’t matter. Words are less important to me than deeds. You saw what happened with surveillance, and everybody saw what happened with surveillance.”
“You saw what happened with surveillance,” he continued. “I think that was inappropriate. Look, you can figure it out yourself. He was very nice to me with words and when I was with him, but after that there has been no relationship…”

Perhaps the key word is “Obama” was interested in a smooth transition. (Really, “NOT creating massive problems and disruptions”)
But it always was his staff, his professional handlers and their staff and their consultants and their lobbyists and their donors who WERE running the agenda through the White House and the democrat party and their (international) news media.
But Obama was always merely a handle, or a puppet in their hands.
He, most likely, is looking past the White House into “his” preferred international role. He ALWAYS hated the Norman Rockwell Christian capitalist “America” (and Isreal) that won WWII and led the free world against communism. THAT vision of America is HIS enemy. To Obama, the White House was merely a tool.
I wish he would add the Bush’s and Clinton’s to that statement.

I assume Barack Hussein is enjoying relationships with many men, now that he is out of the spotlight. I did not expect (or want) any interactions between our real President and the man #FakeNews put into our White House eight terrible years ago.

Could it be that Obama knows he and his DOJ, plus the CIA, did illegal things, and he wants that swept under the rug? How best to get that result: A, to antagonize Trump during the transition, or B, be as seemingly nice as possible during the transition?

Let’s see which former president Trump would call for advise? Bush Jr. only if the WH needs painting. Senior Bush only to wish him a speedy recovery. Clinton to actually talk about America and the people in it. He understands America. Carter only if he needs a new bathroom in the WH. Not a lot of presidential depth on the bench to assist Trump. Go it alone, you will do right.

The truth is, they don’t want the help if it means anything other than receiving more assistance. Those who don’t take assistance don’t need any help, and don’t want any help. They’re doing quite fine on their own.
Always been puzzled by Obama’s seemingly sincere interest in having a smooth transition of power. Of course half of FR was convinced he’d have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of the WH, but he really did seem to make it easy for Trump to take over. Now we read that he even told Hillary to concede and not drag things out.
Maybe just figured it would make it easier to community-organize his way back into power in the DNC?
