Bill Shine, who has worked at Fox News for 20 years, has resigned as co-president.
An internal memo sent out by Rupert Murdoch, top executive of Fox's parent company, made the announcement on Monday.
"Sadly, Bill Shine resigned today," Murdoch's memo said. "I know Bill was respected and liked by everybody at Fox News. We will all miss him."

Danger, Will Robinson!
A portent of things to come? Wiping out a conservative voice or an inevitability due to the business? Or both?
We used to be locked on FOX NEWS all day. NOT ANYMORE. OAN is our new favorite news station.
My guess is the next phase for a conservative network is podcasts. Quite a few commentators are going this route already. If the tech advances enough they’ll be able to add video and link it to an app for appletv or other formats. I think there are a few already working in this direction. When FNC implodes and starts splitting viewers with CNN MSNBC etc. these podcasts will snap up the viewers.
The lefties who are smacking their lips on twitter say Hannity is the next scalp on their list.
I agree. I think Murdoch's sons and their respective wives, are all very liberal; and, they are the ones in charge now.
I only watched cause of Shine! Now he is gone.
.."Times are changing to get ready for the Trump Years!"...LOLOL
I walk across the back balcony walkway in my condo at evening time...and if the doors are open, the folks inside are settled in for the night's TV lineups, stretched out on their sofas or reclining chairs.
I don't know much about podcasts, but I do know most folks don't want to watch the evening shows on an IPOD gadget or have to go totheir computer in another room and sit on a stiff chair for "streaming shows" or whatever.
Investors in a new conservative network should consider those millions of viewers in the older set who don't diddle with all of today's electronic toys and devices. They probably would turn to CNN or worse for evening news if they had to go through even minor hoops to get conservative TV.

Hopefully any new conservative network will be connected to enough cable and satellite systems.
I will watch Fox and Friends, and then Bill Hemmer (I like him and Martha), but then, not a whole lot. The Five was ok at 5:00. Not watched the evening yet. I get most of my news here and Drudge, and some other sites. My wife will say “Where did you hear that?” and I tell her, “On the Internet.” Fox will soon be passed by now.
What an arrogant and ignorant old fool.
Good luck with that!
Tommi Leahren would only sully the new network. She brings nothing to the conservative table.
She jumped whatever short shark she may have swam with, with her pro-abortion stance.
I tend to think Tomi is just too young, too green, and not a deep thinker at this point in her life & career.
Hard to imagine anyone working 20 years for one company in that business. The Brothers Murdoch are pushing it farther and farther into the ground. Fox may not be around in another 10 years at this rate.
Sean was Bill Shine’s biggest supporter..now that Bill is gone, supposedly rumors on twitter is that Sean Hannity will be departing Fox News soon..Sean Hannity is one of my favorites(Other than Judge Jeanine) Fox News is slowly killing itself
Hannity has a key man clause in his contract. If a key man leaves the network then he is out and free from anything.
Man, FOX is just disintegrating before our eyes.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Jesse Watters was pu$$y whipped right off of Watter’s World after its 3rd program.
I doubt he will be back. We’ll have to see. maybe Watters will join the new Bill O’Reilly network.
Mediaite says that a new conservative channel with possible backing from Roger Ailes is being built. It is to start in a year or as fast as it can. It wants to get Hannity so it contacted him to break his clause and join.
The reporta make it sound like they have more money than Newsmax TV and One America News Network to afford salaries of Sean Hannity and whomever else they get. The debate for me is if it is worth it to add Bill O’Reilly who is so/so and not that conservative. People who were rabid fans of him weren’t always that conservative.
