House GOP leaders are expressing confidence that the Republican-sponsored American Health Care Act (AHCA) to repeal and replace Obamacare will pass Thursday afternoon, though it will face an uncertain path in the Senate.

We shall see.

If it passes the GOP owns healthcare and the left will constantly be looking for people suffering under the plan. The outrageous premiums and deductibles, being ignored under O’care, will suddenly be headline news.

If it doesn’t pass the GOP owns healthcare. Dems and the press will say by voting down their own alternative, Republicans signed onto Obamacare.

The GOP has managed to convert a winning issue into a debacle by refusing to just repeal the legislation.

Have they read it? Has the bill been publicly posted? I'd like to read it. How can I voice my opinion to my legislator without having access to the text?

I have been convinced that passage of healthcare is directly related to the CR passing. One will not happen without the other ( i believe). The fact that Healthcare is being voted on first tells me that if congress does not pass healthcare, they will not get all the goodies they have packed into the CR.

CBS This morning was fretting that the CBO hasn’t even scored it yet, as if that is supposed to mean anything. I see they are reading right from the Dem talking points. Didn’t hear the media hoopla when nobody read it and Pelosi bragged about it.

Completely agree. We'd all be better off if "changes" fail and we get a clean "repeal". That is what we were promised. "Repeal", and then we can talk about "Replace".

Read it? Hah.

The ink isn't even dry yet on this new revised bill. FTA...

After huddling Wednesday night, House GOP leaders decided to move forward and schedule the vote for Thursday afternoon, despite the lack of a score from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), which estimates how it would affect the federal deficit and Americans with health insurance. The CBO's score of the original bill estimated that 24 million people would lose their insurance over the course of a decade.

Asked about the concern that the final bill hasn't been scored, Rep. Chris Collins, R-New York, said, "We have the score on the base bill that saves billions and billions of dollars."

I hear no one read it. No surprise. I hear that the CBO hasn’t done the numbers yet. Can you imagine how ugly this could get. Ugh!!!!

Yeah, I saw you make that point a few days ago. And you may be right. There may be some horse trading here between the dems and repubs. Dealing with the spending budget and healthcare reform.

Give and take is gonna need to happen on both sides.

One writer already predicts that Dems will use the MSM lie “pre-exisiting conditions not covered under Repub bill” lie big-time for the 2018 elections. Most people will believe it, he claims.

Republicans demanded that the CBO scored be presented when the Dems were preparing a healthcare bill.

There has been no debate on this bill.

No scoring.

I doubt President Trump knows more than a 2-sentence summary of what this thing does.

Spicer is telling us its impact is unknowable.

But we absolutely need a vote today for reasons.

I prefer to call it the BOHICA Bill.

ObamaCare with a new name. Same crap sandwich, but with all new packaging.
