The poll was conducted for those who are receiving subsidies from the government that pay for their insurance.

I’m surprised the results weren’t higher for 0bamacare.

Exactly, when the panty waist senators roll over and hide with their arses up in the air, the new House bill will die, let it. President Trump was right as usual, wait for Obama Care to wither and die until the dems are crying for a fix.

Could someone give me a simple explanation of how the GOP plan works and how it will lower premiums? Will it lower premiums in all states or only some? Why or why not?

Can you briefly explain how the GOP plan lowers premiums? Im not saying it won’t, but I need a clear, keep it simple, explanation

No one knows. The plan that passed the house is not likely to be the final plan, if one even gets passed by the Senate.

I guess we have to pass it to see what is in it. :)
That is what I tell liberals who ask me about it.

I personally don’t think it will a great law. How an it be? It preserves the insurance monopolies ... as well as the Big Pharma and Big Med monopolies. Until we can get real competition, there is no plan that will work to contain costs.

Something like 80% of the folks on bummercare are either receiving it free or subsidized. I’m guessing they would like it

Free shit is good!!!!!!!!!

Ok, if nobody here knows how the GOP plan will work to lower premiums, why are we automatically defending it and assuming on faith that it will work better than Obamacare? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Obamacare, but I’m not a child who will take medicine without knowing what’s in it

You apparently think the GOP plan is better than Obamacare. Ok, fine, but can you explain the GOP plan and how it lowers premiums and makes things better? I need a simple explanation

I don’t think too many people here are defending the AHCA.
An informal survey by me reveals that most people wanted a repeal, no replace. That wasn’t politically viable IMO but it is what Trump promised on the campaign trail. He promised repeal and replace ... so the push is coming from Trump.

Since there was no way in hell they were ever going to repeal alone ... I’ve long advocated that Republicans do nothing and let Obamacare implode on its own, which it is well on the way to doing.

Can we be confident that the GOP plan won’t make premiums go up even more? Since nobody here seems to be able to explain it, I fail to understand why we can say for sure it’s better than Obamacare

If they were smart, haha, they would do nothing to Obamacare but repeal the mandate. Leave the sucker in place to implode.
Pass another law that says American citizens can choose any insurance they want or Obamacare.
Done. Finito. Let it implode.

I doubt it will make premiums go down or even remain the same.

How can it? Again the government has created a monopoly ... so the costs can never go down.

No, I do not have any faith at all that this is a good thing.
