Democrats in governance do not mean well. Many in the Democrat electorate may mean well, but not the leadership. The leadership is in it for power and money.
Power is derived from social programs, in which most of the money is not spent on the ultimate recipients but on bureaucrats and the contractors they hire to run the programs. That creates larger and larger organizations with more and more power and money at the top. It also generates government union dues and resulting campaign contributions, leading to sustained and greater power. A huge amount of featherbedding is going on with Democrat legislators who steer money to activist organizations that will provide cushy, high-paying "jobs" for them when they are termed out (in CA) or leave office to cash in.
It is all about themselves, and they use this elaborate construct to make it look like they mean well for the common person out there. They exploit isolated cases of people who were helped by these programs to continue to drive the emotions of the unthinking electorate. Lots of self and mutual congratulations reinforce and rationalize the scheme. They do not mean well. The few exceptions either fall in line eventually or are drummed out.
..cut of water, power, rail, and highway...
...they’d fold like cheap suits...
What amazes me is the direction political opposition takes when krap like this gets thrown against the wall.
Phony issues created by their pervert-a-cratic politicians many of whom are pushing perverted causes to distract the voters. What Californian opposition should be concerned about is not only what sanctuary state is costing them. But everything else.
Forcibly remove Cali from the union, then deport all of the illegals in the 49 states there. They love ‘em.
save for later. thanks
