The goal is to charge a staffer with lying to a federal agent. They ask the questions 17 different ways in three interviews over three months.

Was just watching the movie “runaway bride” where Richard Gere gets fired for a news story without corroboration. Made me laugh. Obviously that standard is for the realms of pure fantasy and doesn't have any effect on journalists today.
