German chancellor Angela Merkel is meeting Indian prime minister Narendra Modi today - and both sides have their feelers out for a potential free trade deal.

BMW has a factory in India since 2007. Audi is also present. Mercedes has been around much longer. Rolls Royce, Porsche and Lamborghini have dealerships in the major cities, but import their cars.
