Not all cultures are equal. I grew up in the area and it is the extreme contrast of two societies literally side by side the further one goes down the cobblestone streets of Germantown Avenue. Third world sh*thole comes to mind the further one drives.This garbage is not new. What I really want to say is not constructive.

Couple of thoughts:

1) I think fire hoses should be used to break up fights from now on. That or clouds of pepper spray.
2) Why is it a big deal when a principal is hit with a brick, and suffers "serious injuries", but when a Border Patrol agent shoots a POS Mexican kid throwing rocks at him, it's murder according to the Left? I guess it's okay for a BP agent to suffer serious injuries or death, but not for a school principal?

My brother substituted in Philly a long while ago and the teacher in the next classroom packed. My brother’s sense of humor and mouth always saves his behind. He’s a great writer and communicator. I envy him that talent.

This is a K-8 school! Horrible!

Principal looks like a nice guy. What a terrible thing to have happened.

The thing that struck me was the name of the schools. “Filter Academics Plus” and “Mastery Charter” school. Apparently the Mastery students get out early on Wednesday and come and wait for the Academics Plus students to leave so they can fight.

I’m sure the idea is that if you give the school a fancy name the kids will act fancy. In my town they renamed the “Alternative School” to “The Academy”, you know like Plato. But the damn kids don’t start acting eager-to-learn Greeks.
