I may be way off base here but a lot of people think Trump has known he was under surveillance by the deep State agencies since well before the election.
Then of course we know Obama changed it so that all agencies can share.
And also who knows what was going on with Comey and what they might have found in his office since he didn’t have a chance to clean it up.
In other words I think there is a deeper game being played here whatever it is.
President Trumps own security caught those FISA warrant electronic surveils as soon as they were turned on and they were actively used against whomever were listening from the second they were placed and turned on.
Trump knows exactly what was said and recorded by them because it was all scripted to do exactly what it has done.

I think you are on target. Possible that Trump has found a bug left behind by the Obama people, too. Which revelation would be explosive, indeed. He’s keeping it as a hole card and letting the scum from highest to lowest know, he has the goods.

I have thought the same thing. This goes deep into the bowels of corrupt DC politics — both DemocRAT and GOP. I believe there is blackmail involved from the bottom up — be it sex or money or whatever. There is a dossier on everyone. No one is immune, so no one will speak the truth for fear of being outed. Newbies to DC, no matter how good their intentions, find out very quickly how the game is played. If they don’t play by the DC rules, they will become persona non grata. Mr. Trump’s life is and has been an open book. He is not DC, so he threatens the insider’s delicate balance of power and their ability to run DC they way they want. That is why they want to take him out. JMHO
