I used to listen to him. He never made any pretense of being conservative; he describes himself as “center right”. Most people on this site would likely despise him since he doesn’t pass the conservative purity test.
Interesting move for MSNBC. Still not going to watch them, though. That channel is banned in my house.

Years ago I was a regular caller to his show. He was always personable, gracious, and patient with my opinions.
But, imo he wants too badly to be liked by the people in the so-called” news media and by the people in the so-called “entertainment” industry. He thinks there really is such a thing as a ‘centrist” in American politics.
His answer to this nation’s hard left turn is to advocate a mild right turn. That approach has never worked for the Republicans. Not in my lifetime. They always end up being dragged farther and farther away from the Constitutional Republic we were meant to be.

People toss Conservative around like it’s a health club. Makes no difference what you believe, you just tell everyone you show up at the club to exercise. Read that, once every six months.
