" I am in NC right now and to be honest, day to day living is cheaper than TN because of their 10% sales tax on everything."

TN has no state income tax. I lived in Nashville for a year, moving from Chicago. It was a lot cheaper then and even more so now because Cook County has a 10% sales tax plus gas taxes plus ridiculous property taxes plus a growing state income tax.

I don’t doubt that. I still have a place in Rutherford County.
I was just comparing the price of goods in NC compared to TN.

Ill. is off the charts. (Cook)

TN is very good for most costs. They do peg their gas tax to the roads and I believe that is a constitutional thing and Democraps are always trying to get their greedy hands on that money.

I love the state but my work keeps me in NC. I haven’t noticed any drop in income as my day to day expenses are 5% less than TN.
