Kind of disappointing. Let me explain.

It’s kind of disappointing that the Mail would rely on il Fatto Quotidiano as a primary source. That source is on par with “sources” like the National Enquirer, a tabloid in other words.

This is according to my wife who is Italian, and speaks Italian, who knows the culture there and the types of news sources there.

I would take this report with a grain of salt, at least, in my opinion until and unless corroborated by other Italian sources.

Sorry should have replied to your post 41. I think you’ll find my post 43 interesting.

Everyone shouldn’t believe everything coming out of Italy regarding the Catholic Church in other words. They have their own sensationalist news there too. Not saying it’s necessarily wrong, but again should be corroborated at least.

Shame on the Mail for running with such an uncorroborated source. IMO.

Quit worrying about the climate change nonsense and get your house in order, Pontiff. This is disgraceful.

“they can’t burn Copernicus anymore.”

Copernicus was a Catholic priest and scholar who was honored by the Catholic church during his lifetime.

In 1533, Johann Widmanstetter, secretary to Pope Clement VII, explained Copernicus's heliocentric system to the Pope and the cardinals. The Pope was so pleased that he gave him a valuable gift.

Following the death of the Bishop of Warmia in 1537, Copernicus participated in the election of his successor. Copernicus was one of four candidates for the post.

Copernicus died at age 70 on 24 May 1543. Copernicus was buried in Frombork Cathedral and honored in a Catholic funeral mass and ceremony.

Stop saying things that are not true.

“Catholicism is no longer a religion. I put it on par with Scientology and Jim Jones.”

The Catholic Church is the one true church founded by Jesus Christ, St. Peter and the apostles.

That is why it is so tragic that it has been infiltrated by evil men.

It appears that the story is true and that there have been more details reported. The Vatican official who sponsored the drug fueled gay orgy was an “ardent supporter of Pope Francis according to his Linked in account”

From Breitbart:

“Msgr. Luigi Capozzi, assistant to Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, was arrested by the Vatican gendarmerie and sent briefly to a Roman clinic for drug detox. The priest, a native of Salerno, is currently on retreat at an unspecified convent in Italy.

Capozzi’s apartment where the raid took place is in the palace of the Sant’Uffizio within the Vatican City, where a number of high-ranking prelates have lived, including then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger before being elected Pope.

Theories abound regarding who tipped off the police concerning the sordid affair, but reports suggest that Capozzi had made a number of enemies. According to local media, the apartment where Capozzi lived—the scene of the raid—was never supposed to be assigned to a mere secretary of a department head, but was reserved for higher level prelates of the Roman Curia.

Discontent had been brewing as well because Capozzi had somehow come into possession of a car with the license plate of the Holy See, another privilege reserved for prelates. This car would also allow its owner to transport drugs without being stopped by the Italian police, a fact employed in reconstructing possible scenarios behind last week’s events.

The priest is considered an “ardent supporter of Pope Francis” and according to his Linked-in account is an “expert in canon law and dogmatic theology.”

Reports of a “gay lobby” within the Vatican have circulated for years.

Matthew 7:21-23New International Version (NIV)

True and False Disciples

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

This swamp needs draining too. I can’t wait for all the “modern” priests ordained in the 60s and 70s to die off. The boomer lavender mafia disgusts me.
