The Media Perpetuated A Clinton Lie For 9 Months. What It Means For The Russia Narrative
dailycaller.com ^ | July 9, 2017 | by Rachel Stoltzfoos

When Hillary Clinton claimed “17 intelligence agencies” agree on Russian meddling in the third presidential debate, a host of media outlets including The New York Times rated the claim as 100 percent true. Nine months later, those same outlets say the stat is obviously false, and there’s been a “simple” explanation as to why all along.

A closer look at how the claim survived and thrived over those nine months reveals a startling lack of skepticism in the press when it comes to the Russia narrative. The truth is the great majority of the 17 agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community had nothing to do with the investigation and made no judgments about the matter.

“The reason the views of only those four intelligence agencies, not all 17, were included in the assessment is simple: They were the ones tracking and analyzing the Russian campaign,” The New York Times now reports. “The rest were doing other work.”

Strange admission for the paper, since its star political reporter recently reiterated the false claim as she was in the middle of writing an article characterizing President Trump as stubbornly foolish.

“The latest presidential tweets were proof to dismayed members of Mr. Trump’s party that he still refuses to acknowledge a basic fact agreed upon by 17 American intelligence agencies that he now oversees: Russia orchestrated the attacks, and did it to help him get elected,” Maggie Haberman wrote. Her story was later corrected to reflect the — basic fact — that only three agencies working under the Director of National Intelligence contributed to the intelligence community’s conclusion.

A few days later, the Associated Press echoed that correction in a “clarification” bulletin acknowledging there’s no truth to the claim the wire service had repeatedly blasted out for publication to news...

the actual key circumstantial evidence to support the "Russian Narrative", would be the exposed DNC plot to cheat Bernie/ this should point back to wikileaks and the murder of Seth Rich. The Seth Rich murder investigation was covered up with extreme prejudice and squelched immediately, while the imaginary Trump/Russia collusion propaganda diversion was forced into a full force massive assault theater.

call me a crazy conspiracy theory nut case, but I have a nagging feeling Comey knows who killed Seth Rich

….it was actually only 3 not 4.

Depending on how you define ‘agency’, I think that technically there are only 16, not 17 agencies….. This might just be semantics but I don’t regard the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as an intelligence agency per se…… its role is organize, coordinate and manage the efforts of the other agencies, and the person who heads up this office reports directly to the President. Anyway, this is why some reports said 3 while some said 4…. the 4th one being the Office of the DNI.

The lies from the Compost and Ny Slimes seem to be hurting these fishwraps financially. Bad enough their elite owners are begging for help. How about printing the truth.

Bezos, Slim, and Buffett,
Publicly Pleading Poverty,

Ask Congress for Help
With Their Newspapers
By IRA STOLL, Special to the Sun | July 10, 2017

It’s the sort of brazen move that might ordinarily trigger a front-page news story or an outraged editorial — a bunch of rich individuals asking Congress to write them a law that would give them better negotiating power against other rich individuals.

Yet in this case, the rich individuals wanting special treatment are the newspaper owners themselves. Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos (worth $83.9 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire’s Index), New York Times owner Carlos Slim (worth $61.1 billion), and Buffalo News owner Warren Buffett ($76.9 billion), publicly pleading poverty, are asking Congress for a helping hand in their negotiations with Google, controlled by Sergey Brin ($45.6 billion) and Larry Page ($46.8).

Excerpted. For the full sad story about Bezos, Slim and Buffett whining about their fishwraps dying due to lack of readership and unable to compete with Google and Facebook.

Thanks Jim Rob for the article. Let’s go back in history to the clinton administration when the Chinese received our missle technology and the mass media protected the then president. We also have, in recent history, the Secretary of State, a clinton, selling one forth of America’s uranium to the Russians, who I’m sure, sold it to Iran. Both illegal
sales have been hushed up by the American media. But they are all over a ruse that the Russians helped elect President Trump, when in fact, it is the American citizens who elected him to represent America and American citizens. Now the likes of the NY sltimes are trying to protect their kiesters.

This whole neo-Russophobia thing which the demopoops have gotten themselves into is a massive load of BS.

"Evil Russians hacked the poor Hildabeast out of the presidency!!!"

How could anybody say that and keep their face straight??

I mean, Donald Trump is trying to establish decent, normal relations with Russia and China and the deep-staters, neotards, and demopoops are trying to move heaven and Earth to blow all of that up and get us into a nuclear war, what could b e worse??

More proof that the lib media are in the tank for Democrats.

The Rat party makes it so obvious!

We still do not know from the media how Miss Hillary's health issues are doing so far.

I guess the Far Left Leaning Liberal Media is in cahoots with the Clintoon party since they are afraid that they might be the latest victims of the Clintoon hate party.

The Media will not report one thing about why all these folks have suddenly died or disappeared from this earth all a sudden.
Even the Rat party does not want to touch these all of a sudden deaths.

This is another example of how a Democrat like Killary Klinton can say something jaw-dropping like this, and each arm of each MSM alphabet repeats the lie over-and-over as gospel.
Once it becomes clear that what she said was false—down the old memory hole with it. It never happened.
And if a Winston brings it up a few months from now, he’s shuttled off to the network affiliate in Dubuque, a non-person.
