It's not a military position, so military qualifications are inappropriate.

It is a law enforcement position, and the performance of the last law enforcement unit he headed at DoJ can only be described as catastrophic. His failures to enforce the law are in part directly responsible for the housing bubble and the Great Depression that has followed and not yet left us.

Sessions is just a guy that works at DOJ and not a very high ranking one either. Sessions didn’t have enough sense to clean house; he really thought that “career employees” could set aside their Democratness. He doesn’tt understand that Democrats are no love for this country, much less a moral under pinning that precludes partisanship.

Sessions is stuck in the mindset of a Uniparty legislator from the capitulatory right side of the aisle. That kind has been house-broken to never fight back against the left.

Like Lincoln discovered with McClellan, Trump will eventually come to realize that Sessions is a poor General who will lose the war, if not replaced with a Grant.

Wow! The McClellan analogy is sustainable.

Sessions is becoming something worse than a mere disappointment.

Because your opinion of him is formed by what the media tells you he is doing/not doing.

Powerful corrupt politicians like the Clintons cannot be easily taken down through the legal/government system. The best legal minds have already tried, for at least 20 years.

The only way to get them is to eliminate their source of funds.

The human trafficking is a huge source of income and blackmail power.

That is what Sessions is going after.

As they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Listen, pal. The media does not run my mind, shape my opinions, or provide me with any sort of perspective of the world or current events. Being a Freeper, I rely on a multitude of much better sources, to provide me with solid information to think with.

Yeah, I really do think for myself., unlike liberals who swallow whatever the talking heads and newspapers tell them to.

I've been watching Jeff Sessions, and I'm beyond unimpressed with his performance as AG, thus far. I'm frankly alarmed, for all the reasons I and others have already delineated on this thread.

If you want to sit there believing, and waiting for him to sh!t, or get off the pot, be my guest.

Yeah, I really do think for myself.,

We all do. I meant no offense.

My point was that you and I don't have personal info on what he is or is not doing, and have to rely on the media for that info.

Here is the info that the MSM won't bother reporting. Not many are aware of it. Were you ?

Why the MSM Is Ignoring Trump's Sex Trafficking Busts

"Since President Donald Trump has been sworn in on Jan. 20, authorities have arrested an unprecedented number of sexual predators involved in child sex trafficking rings in the United States. This should be one of the biggest stories in the national news. Instead, the mainstream media has barely, if at all, covered any of these mass pedophile arrests. This begs the question – why?"

"As a strong advocate for sex crime victims, I’ve been closely following the pedophile arrests since Trump took office. There have been a staggering 1,500-plus arrests in one short month"

-On Jan. 27 authorities arrested 42 in a human trafficking operation in Tennessee.

-On Jan. 29 authorities announced that 474 were arrested in a statewide California human trafficking operation and 28 sexually exploited children were rescued.

-108 were arrested from Jan. 18 to Feb. 5 in Illinois as part of a national sex trafficking sting operation.

- 178 people were arrested in Texas for sex trafficking in sting that operated in January till Super Bowl Sunday.

-16 people were arrested in January in Michigan for sex trafficking during the Detroit Auto Show.

-In February, authorities arrested 11 in Virginia in a child sex sting.

-On Feb. 14 the Polk County sheriff announced that 42 were arrested in Florida in child pornography related cases.

I understand that unless he takes down Hillary, you feel that he's not doing anything, but that is not the case.

Let's say Trump made you the AG. How would you take down Hillary, given the current state of affairs and lack of cooperation by Federal authorities ?

I understand that unless he takes down Hillary, you feel that he's not doing anything, but that is not the case.

Can you please stop putting words in my mouth, and ascribing positions to me that I have not taken? I never said a word about Hillary Clinton.

Yes, I have read about the pedophile busts, and of course I'd like to see Clinton in prison. What's more important in the short term, is simply going after the criminal class of Democrat elites. The fact that they're hard fish to catch shouldn't dissuade Sessions from doing his job.

Many top Democrats have been involved with, or have committed real crimes, for which they should be made to answer. At the very least, these people should be made to suffer the full brunt of the legal process, from being investigated, to being indicted and forced to testify. They should be lawyered up, and in real fear of losing their freedom.

By refusing to go after the real evil doers, Jeff Sessions has invited spurious attacks against the President. What began as a laughable conspiracy theory about Russians 'hacking the election', has now turned into a coordinated assault against the President by the entire left.

This would not be happening if Jeff Sessions had gone after the principal bad actors in the Democrat party from the outset. His immediate refusal from anything hav8ng to do with the presidential election was a pivotal mistake on his part. Eric Holder would have never stepped aside under such circumstances. Neither would any AG who understood the dynamics of the threat to their boss, and to the country.

Giving me the back of your hand, eh? And here I thought we were merely having a spirited conversation. Ah well...

Giving me the back of your hand, eh?

No, not at all.

You said I was putting words in your mouth about Hillary and I admitted you were correct.

Back to the spirited conversation, what must Sessions do to have you believe he is doing his job?

I admitted you were correct.

Sheesh. Now I feel like a dumbell. Sorry for misreading you.

what must Sessions do to have you believe he is doing his job?

1. Go after Susan Rice, et al, for using our government's surveillance apparatus to spy on private citizens.

2. Investigate the Uraniom One deal, just to make sure everything about it was legal, and that nothing improper was done. This should be done for nati8nal security reasons, but it will also send a cold wind up the Clinton's backsides.

3. Go after every mayor, governor, sheriff, judge, or other state official who defies the federal government on immigration matters. Its time to start cuffing and stuffing those bastards.

4. Pull the string on what happened with the 2016 Democrat nominating process. It's pretty clear that Bernie was cheated, and that laws were broken. Seth Rich was murdered because of this. It must be investigated, and the guilty parties brought to justice.

5. Servergate. He's got to go there, whether he wants to or not. If he can't, he should tender his resignation.

Sheesh. Now I feel like a dumbell. Sorry for misreading you.

It happens. We're past that. Water under the bridge and all.

1. Go after Susan Rice, et al, for using our government's surveillance apparatus to spy on private citizens.

Going after an individual doesn't seem to work for 'us'. She's also got the woman card, and even though she's only semi-quasi 'black' she has the race card. She is too entrenched in the ruling elite. Her parents were quite well off and well entrenched.

2. Investigate the Uraniom One deal, just to make sure everything about it was legal, and that nothing improper was done. This should be done for nati8nal security reasons, but it will also send a cold wind up the Clinton's backsides.

I love it. Perfect methodology to defeat these corrupt leaders. Don't go after an individual, go after 'the deal'.

3. Go after every mayor, governor, sheriff, judge, or other state official who defies the federal government on immigration matters. Its time to start cuffing and stuffing those bastards.

Too large of a scope. I don't think one person could do this in a lifetime, even with help. If Sessions did this, he would never be able to accomplish anything else.

4. Pull the string on what happened with the 2016 Democrat nominating process. It's pretty clear that Bernie was cheated, and that laws were broken. Seth Rich was murdered because of this. It must be investigated, and the guilty parties brought to justice.

I like this one too. However, I don't think Sessions can find anyone to file a complaint. Maybe if Sessions could get the FBI to investigate the murder of Seth Rich, he would be able to break open the whole DNC Scam, but I think the FBI was in on the whole deal. Someone drugged Rich, then took him some where and questioned/searched him. FBI? CIA? Then he was taken back to his neighborhood by some colorful 'assets' who were not very professional and bungled the whole thing. Of course, both of those guys are dead now, so it will be hard to get any info from them.

5. Servergate. He's got to go there, whether he wants to or not. If he can't, he should tender his resignation.

He can go there, but 'it' is not there. What was on the server had to be destroyed. It would have incriminated 90% of our government. These people are willing to lie, cheat, steal, and murder to gain/keep wealth and power. What do you think they would to do keep from losing it ?

I would not want to be in Sessions shoes. If it were 'easy' to charge and arrest these powerful people, someone would already have done it. Look back at the Clinton era. We all 'knew' what was going on, but they never got busted for anything. It's not that people weren't trying.

Let's look at a list of some people who have tried to testify as to the crimes of our politicians.

Peter Smith - Haiti and the Clintons
Klaus Eberwein - Haiti and the Clintons
Monica Peterson - Haiti and the Clintons
Beranton J. Whisenant Jr. - the DNC and Debbie WS
Shawn Lucas - DNC Lawsuit Process Server
John Ashe - UN official who was going to testify about the Clintons
Seth Rich - DNC and Wikileaks LEAK

What do these people have in common ? All DEAD within the last year.

I had oral surgery today, so pardon my abbreviated response. I’m dealing with meds, pain, and bleeding, so I can’t give you the response your well thought out reply deserves.

In a nutshell, I’d say that I understand the difficulties and challenges associated with going after the cases I mentioned, but we either have the rule of law in this country, or we don’t. It was hard to take down the mob during the 1930s, but our federal law enforcement agencies stepped up to the plate and got the job done.

It’s no different today. The targets of these potential investigations are some of the slickest, most powerful, well protected, wealthy, best connected, and most dangerous people in the world. But they’re not invincible. They’ve all got weaknesses, chief of which, are their many crimes.

They can be brought to justice, but it’s going to take cojones and guts to do so. Even if they can’t be convicted, it’s vital that we go after them with everything we’ve got, in order to put that criminal class on the defensive, and shift the fight to their court.

Right now, the Trump administration is on the defensive because Jeff Sessions isn’t on offence. That dynamic needs to change, or this president will (at the very least) be boxed in and neutered by the deep state and their criminal elite masters. His ‘America First’ agenda will fall by the wayside, while he struggles to merely survive the increasing onslaught of attacks.

The Attorney General is perhaps the most key player in keeping that from happening, but he’s got to find his spine and begin doing what must be done.
