They didn’t mess with the actual votes, just released true information that caused people to like Hillary less. Who knew that was even possible?
As recently as five years ago, every major news outlet would have treated this set of facts as front-page news and a dire threat to any Republican’s presidency.
But if it involved a Democrat president, the “reporting” would have focused on disparaging and discrediting anyone who wished to pursue the matter.
The Ministry of Propaganda is losing control of the decreed narrative, evidently. They can’t figure out any new BS to throw out there but Russia Russia Russia. The burnout is YUGE.
Stupid NYT has it backasswards again. Truth is, no one cares about Russia EXCEPT in the world made by NYT/WAPO/CNN/NBC/CBS/ABC and all the rest of the MSM.

...but now that the propaganda power of the Media has been broken, and their credibility destroyed, the NYT and other Left-wing outlets no longer enjoy such illegitimate advantages over conservatives, and they're bitter about it.
The facts, in an of themselves, of course, don't even remotely suggest that any crime was committed. Indeed, they don't indicate anything other than the routine sort of political shenanigans which the Left has been getting away with for decades on end. What the Media is upset about is that their ability to slant reality has been obliterated, never to return.

The story I heard was the Russian lawyer made allegations about Hillary taking Russian money but had no evidence. That was the end of it.
If the Russian lawyer offered allegations about Trump taking Russian money without evidence to the Dems, the Dems would have run with it.
