On CNN’s Reliable Sources today, Ken Kurson, the former editor-in-chief of the New York Observer, owned by the Kushner family, calmly laid out a damning indictment of the mainstream media in the age of Trump.
Pursuant to Kurson’s bill of particulars:
The media has become the opposition party; the Dems have become irrelevant.
The press has assigned itself the role of undoing the results of the election, which they don’t accept.
Journalists reward each other for “stabbing and needling.”

Stelter actually said, “I think a lot of journalists are against lying...against deceit...that’s where we are right now” at the end...
if he’s referring to the lying and deceit of journalists I agree with him but i tend to believe that wasn’t his point...
I have never seen Selter before. He comes across as a smug little child.
Then you add the RINO republicans in the Senate, and we are in real trouble. The Republicans have to realize what they are up against and work harder to pass good legislation and quit the grandstanding. McConnell and Ryan better wake up.

It’s obvious that 95% of the media voted for Clinton or Stein. It has nothing to do with the media’s perception of: “Trump’s lies or deceit.”
They CRAVE taking Trump down like a crack whore craves crack!
I crave getting to meet several of them in an airport bar or walking down a busy city street someday. I will knock them the hell out! Stelter would curl up on the floor like a little girl.
To be clear CNN is a sub of Time Warner but a merger with AT&T is about to be done.
There could be changes but wouldn’t hold breath.

The implication is the people don't matter.
Here’s a plausible explanation of what happened:
1. Democrats allow their media allies to take lead in attacking President Trump in belief that a) media’s ersatz objectivity makes attacks more credible; and b) Democrats’ hands remain clean since it is the media doing the dirty work.
2. Democrats didn’t realize that by delegating their traditional role to the media, Democrats become irrelevant.
3. President Trump casts the argument between him and the media. Americans are willing to objectively evaluate this since it doesn’t seem to be Republicans vs. Democrats. Americans determine President Trump is right and that the ersatz objective media are really Fake News.
RESULT: Democrats become irrelevant and Democrat-allied media lose credibility. President Trump gets a two-fer there.
CONSPIRACY THEORY: President Trump knew this would be the result all along and welcomed the fight with the legacy media. President Trump intended to marginalize both the media and Democrats (I repeat myself), and he succeeded.
