I have a friend who works in downtown Denver; I guess their firm gets a weekly grocery delivery to the building.
The delivery was left on the sidewalk for a split second before someone went down to bring it in, and already there was an urban type there asking if they were giving away food! You can bet it would have been gone if they had waited 30 more seconds to bring it inside.
Not just that, but OSHA has been known to penalize companies because their employee(s) got hurt by the robber(s).
And, if they have worker’s comp insurance, the employer has now purchased that injury for the rest of that persons life (in most states)!
Most lawyers and government agencies SUCK!!
All big Retailers have the same Policy.
They don’t want to get Sued by the Thieves.
