Minneapolis: Muslim cop who shot unarmed woman refuses to be interviewed by investigators
Jihad Watch ^ | July 19, 2017 | Robert Spencer

And so the questions just grow more intense. There is still no evidence that Noor is a jihadi or that this was a jihad attack. But this does seem to be yet another manifestation of the fear of “Islamophobia” charges resulting in a Muslim being placed in a position for which he was not qualified and was able to do harm to others. The quintessential example of this phenomenon is Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood jihad mass murderer.

With three complaints against him in two years, Mohamed Noor seems at very least to be dangerously reckless and/or incompetent. It is likely that Minneapolis officials were so anxious to have a Somali Muslim police officer they could showcase that they put Mohamed Noor on the force and kept him there when his obvious shortcomings would have had a non-Muslim officer fired or not hired in the first place.

*snip*

“Officer Noor has declined to be interviewed by BCA agents at this time. Officer Noor’s attorney did not provide clarification on when, if ever, an interview would be possible,” said the statement.

I heard that the victim was in her PJs, I wonder if they were sexy PJs and if somehow that triggered the Muslim in Officer Noor to punish her for being seductively dressed?

Probably an unfair headline. No officer involved in a shooting, right or wrong, would talk.

...

Slager talked and he’s going to jail. Like everybody, they should exercise their rights, especially with the cop-hating atmosphere Obama created.

Oh, please there was cop-hating long before Obama.

This officer should probably go to jail, but he has the right not to incriminate himself.

I keep wondering if the “noise” was from him having a negligent discharge through the floor of the car at which time he freaked out, un-holstered and killed her.

What kind of standard police procedures is that:
1. A woman calls police for help claiming there is an assault behind her house.
2. A police cruiser with two cops arrives.
3. Cops behave as if it’s beneath them to get out of the car and interact with member of the public (whose taxes pay their salaries).
4. Cop-driver lowers his window and talks to the lady (no urgency or simple politeness).
5. Another cop shoots and kills the lady.
What a lovely story!

The cops drove down the alley behind her house. She was 450 feet from her house when she was shot. Most likely she ran up to the police car from behind. There is no reliable information saying the driver was talking to her.

Yes, there were Libertarian and Anarchist cop haters before Obama, but he kicked it up several notches.

I live in St Paul so Ive been hearing everything pretty quickly. Its come out that the officers made a trip around the area and found nothing and stopped. She then came up and pounded on the vehicle and the officer shot her. No clue on how accurate this is. Evidently the cops were in fear of an ambush.

I think we are well past an IA investigation at this point and we should be looking at manslaughter charges. Sick and tired of the PD being held to such low standards when I as a CHP holder would get sent to the chair. Make some Damm examples out of people like this. “Pour encourager les autres”

so the question then may be whether it is wise to start pounding on a cop car in a dark alley knowing that they carry loaded weapons and should have been cognizant that cops in a cop car are sitting targets.

from the victim sympathetic viewpoint, does the cop have to be in fear of his life to shoot and can a woman pounding on the window be a credible life threatening situation?

from a legal standpoint, what would happen if a civilian was sitting in a car, someone pounded on the window, and i took out a gun and shot the person.

presuming no weapon on the scene, and that she pounded on the window approaching from behind, imho the lady was just dumb. imho the shooting officer may be guilty of manslaughter.

A lot of these Dept’s are using Glocks now. The Glock has no safety. The safe mechanism is a hard pull through.

Actually the Minneapolis PD lets officers choose between a .40 Glock or a S&W M&P .9mm. Both of which have a heavy trigger pull.

Glocks (IMHO) do NOT have hard trigger pulls. Far from it.

” After March 1, 2015, sworn employees shall be permitted to declare only the following handguns as new duty handguns:

Striker Platform Handguns
· Sig Sauer P320
· Glock Gen 4 17, 19 and 21
· Smith & Wesson M&P pistol

Hammer Platform Handguns
· Sig Sauer P226 and P227
· Berretta 92 Series
Hammer platform handguns may only be declared after an employee has served one full year after being sworn in to the MPD...

...4. Authorized calibers for the authorized handguns listed above are 9mm and 45ACP.”

http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/policy/mpdpolicy_3-200_3-200

“The department is switching calibers – going from .40-caliber Glocks to a choice of 9mm Glocks or Smith & Wessons....The department decided to give officers a choice between a Glock Model 17 and Model 19 (most who are sticking with a Glock are getting the Model 17, which is a little bigger than the Model 19) and Smith & Wesson M&P (Military & Police) 9mm. “

http://www.twincities.com/2011/07/02/st-pauls-police-officers-to-get-new-guns/

Assuming the guy didn’t opt for a DA/SA like the Beretta, he was using a striker-fired gun. If he didn’t keep his finger off the bang switch, as many do not under stress, he may well have fired unintentionally.

I learned shooting on a S&W J-frame 22 LR. I don’t know what the trigger pull is, but it rates somewhere near hauling up a boat anchor. A few years back, I bought a S&W M&P Shield. Sold it because I couldn’t get used to the trigger.

I’m not slamming it or any striker fired gun, but this cop sounds like someone who shouldn’t have been allowed to carry anything. Including a J-frame 22...

My experience with the Glock 19 is that its a hard trigger pull. Have never fired an M&P but its reputation is a heavy trigger. There is no accident here. It was a deliberate multiple shot kill.

From the current info available I’m leaning toward this Somali being a total unfit for duty moron who should have been chitcanned two complaints ago.
